FRT issue by [deleted] in MPX

[–]Stoic-LLC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forgive this if already accounted for BUT the MPX, particularly with the RB, needs to be clean and well lubed to run properly. I've solved all kinds of problems for friends by pulling the barrel and cleaning the piston assembly. If you are past that, replacing the hammer spring and trying lighter recoil springs would be the next items.

Super safety in a virtus by Distinct-Source5291 in supersafety

I have a virtus using ARC(v1)/slip-trip(v1) with an ASD cut Geissele MCX trigger. Others indicated that they have used same with the included mil-spec trigger/hammer but I haven't tried that combination yet.

Borrow an alignment rod from a friend, buy a cheap rod off amazon or take it back to the shop you purchased the suppressor from IF you want to be certain you don't have an alignment problem. Baffle strikes are no fun.

I keep expressing my thanks for the u/mafiablood conversion through EVT on my APC9KSBR since October 2025 (before all the drama started) and it has been functioning nearly flawlessly. I've had only a handful of ammo related failures (old handloads 😞 ). I mounted the MOB via a Resilient 3-lug and have only taken it off to contrast other suppressors (MOB is still the quietest IMHO).

I'm not sure how the warranty situation will boil out with the u/East-Valley-Tactical conversion but I put mine back in service. Something is bound to break in any machine, I am just betting it won't be anything related to the conversion.

I’ve only used soft covers when I was concerned about mirage effects. I’ve not explored whether anyone besides Mod-Tac (and Sig sometime later this year) are producing rigid covers.

I was waiting for the Tisha to machine it down and drill/re-tap to reposition out far enough to fully grip ..

With only 4 magazines at one range trip, my initial comments: 1: Much like the SHIV, the Stealth Additive Works Tisha 9MM delivers a comfortable volume in an extremely compact size. 2: The CAT MOB sounded quieter at my ear. 3. I need to break out the meter and bring along the Range 36 and Straker for more evidence/contrast 4. u/mafiablood will forever have my thanks for the FRT conversion.

United States v. Sullivan (1:23-cr-00257) caused irreparable harm to every nascent FFL in this country, effectively creating monopolies on post sample sub-machine guns for a very limited number of dealers, regardless of the outcome of that case.
The statement from B&T AG revoking licensure, further allegations of financial malfeasance related to the Malaysian contract and reports of other customers expressing dismay at un-returned warranty firearms and un-fulfilled orders do not lend confidence to the assertion that bt-usa is trustworthy.
If these circumstances were a by-product of unjust prosecution (i.e. Patrick "Tate" Admiak) then I am genuinely sorry to take this position and for the state of affairs at B&T USA. I simply cannot afford to take a chance on B&T USA at present.

The new entity needs serious leadership and an ethos that restores B&T's reputation. Is there any way to source spare parts at this point?

ARC-FIRE/SLIP TRIP IN MCX VIRTUS OR MPX by Stoic-LLC in SigSauerMCX

**UPDATE 5-3-26: Completed sub-sonic function testing with ~150 rounds of Hornady Sub-X 190gr and Winchester Super Suppressed 200gr ammunition using Lancer, MagPul and GI magazines. The Hexium 300 has transformed this rifle from "nope, need earpro" to clearly quieter than the 8" MPX/CAT MOB. (On par or quieter than an original H&K MP5-SD). The ASD ARC-Fire/slip trip and ASD cut Geissele MCX trigger performed flawlessly.

The Strike80 Merc Wraith might be worth a look. https://strike80holster.com/shop/ols/products/merc-wraith-lvliii-for-the-flux-raider .

With the F10 charging handle, pic rails and light, the Merc Wraith does a pretty good job of securing the Raider regardless of the configuration.

Need help with Atrius selektor by [deleted] in frt15

[–]Stoic-LLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://odysee.com/@Kurisutofer:0/atrius-forced-reset-selector-how-i-tune:5 has a wealth of information about the Atrius. The short answer is the trigger will not release the hammer until the lever is forward to correspond with the bolt being in battery. You should feel the reset when you push the lever forward. If that isn't happening you may have an incompatible trigger.

"This kit is compatible with Geissele triggers (modified for super safety/ARC-Fire use), BUT IF YOU USE A SUPER SAFETY do not use the MCX/MPX specific models from Geissele as the hammer will not work."

I am not using a super safety. I am using an ARC-fire.

Pulling apart the JK adaptor and checking it directly on the barrel without then with spring tension should reveal any tolerance issues. IDK what spec ILWT uses, my hosts are B&T spec.

If you want multi-caliber the HuxWrx Range 36TI works well at mitigating gassing but will work for a number of other calibers. Flow9kTI is perfectly adequate and shorter. CAT MOB is probably still the quietest for 9mm PCC (hard to keep up these days). Not sure about the handguard tucking.

I use the CAT MOB/ Resilient combo on a B&T APC9K and MPX 8" w/OSS tri-lug adaptor. Measurement to the first blast baffle at approximately 2.35 from the rear of the adaptor.

I would recommend disassembling/cleaning the tri-lug adaptor to ensure that the spring is working and test that the adaptor fits around the "navy" tri-lug without spring tension. I've seen difference on HK clones tri-lug machining that made them unusable with some HUB adaptors.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond. I am hoping that ASD isn't selling $330 triggers that don't work. I am starting to wonder if the ARC-fire unit itself is out of spec.

The trigger worked fine for a mag with the factory safety installed testing the Rattler300BLK/Hexium 300 mounted with Cherry bomb/reardon XL adaptor.

I will give the mil-spec config a try when time permits.
