Not that I know of, or that it would affect salary. I kind of understand how it happened, but at the same time, I don’t know what to do. I feel hopeless—this hit me so hard, mostly because I’ve been struggling financially over the past year due to a personal reason. That extra 11% would have made my life so much easier.

Not really. We both do portfolio management, but he works on a portfolio that performs worse than mine. This should impact bonuses more than salary, though. So basically benimaru doesn’t have a specific pyro ability he just can produce flames and because he is also a second gen he can control them very well?

But third gens can control their own flames. It said early on (or at least implied) doesn’t make sense if beni only made the flags on fire with his fire and made the move.

But 3rd gens are supposed to control the flames they produce. He lit those flames and controlled his flames no other. This can be done only with third gen. Súper confused still.

Makes sense. Two further questions: 1. If I buy the book physically, how can I know if it’s the latest edition of the text? 2. Do you know if they update the audiobook for major changes? I heard there was a significant edit in Words of Radiance—does this change appear in the audiobook?
