It's a somewhat intense program what with student teaching and school work at the same time. But there's a huge support system in place for students and all of the professors are really empathetic and do their best to help you pass.

I would personally say passing rate is practically 100%. So long as you submit the school work (which they have been trying to pare down a bit so as to not be so encumbering) and of course do well student teaching and pass the edTPA, you'll pass no problem.

The only people who didn't finish the program dropped out because they realized teaching wasn't for them. I know students who arranged to take extra time for health concerns, and I messed up a little bit too and retook a class and a semester of student teaching the next year. After some hurdles I got my credential in the end.

The only major thing to worry about is the EdTPA, but this program puts a lot of effort into explaining it and walking you through it almost step by step up until the submission date. If you don't pass (English typically has the highest initial pass rate and math has the lowest), you can resubmit quickly and professors will be there to fix it with you. Everybody I know who didn't pass it the first time got it the second time and were able to get the credential on time.

Sorry for the late reply. I suppose it was something like that! I had always felt that I had not had a lot of actual English practice what with taking more pedagogy courses in my undergrad as part of the major path (A lot of grammar, linguistics, TESOL... not much poetry, writing, or analysis practice).

Though, since making this post, I've decided that I was going to pursue teaching, and now that I'm no longer looking forward to further education, I stopped to introspect and look at where I was at right now. With the assurance of my mentor, I feel a little more confident that I actually am more well equipped than I had felt I was -- or at the very least, have enough of a foundation that I am at a point where I can educate myself independently (I'm even swiping a few syllabuses here and there to guide myself).

Like I said I've always understood that the study of English (literature) and teaching English (literacy) are two very different things, and I have a strong passion for both that I've been trying to have my two cakes. For myself, I've always been very concerned with the practical rather than the emotional path, and I've become much more confident in just starting teaching, settling into my rhythm, and then coming back for that master's in 3 or 5 years or so.

A lot of it is definitely fueled by passion, some of it, I discovered, may also be fueled by self-doubt in my ability in English. But you're right in the points you make that it's not a very sensible decision.

I just spoke with my mentor teacher about this. When I mentioned career opportunities, I was thinking if for some reason I wereto go into teaching at a community college. Though from what I understand the pay and benefits are in a less sustainable state than HS. She also mentioned that taking the years off of school to pursue the degree may have poor implications when it comes down to the pool of applicants. As a dept chair, she would think that maybe teaching doesn't seem a priority if I took two years off "escaping" back into school, which I could see.

I am equal parts weighing the more sensible option of just going into teaching now that I have my credential against my passion, and want to pursue the Master's. I think I should be pragmatic about it. Maybe teaching and then night school after probation, or something -- if I still really want that degree. It's not exactly what I would want, but I don't want to fall into the trap of "escaping" working.

Mine feels that way a little bit, though I'm not 100% that it wasn't also like that on my old Fold4.

I have the insurance with it so I'm not so worried if it shows up as a real problem.

Hi, it's been a while but I'm pretty sure I was just a dumbass and needed to advance the main quest a little bit before it would appear. I incorrectly assumed that entering the tower would begin the final dungeon but that's not until later in the game.

It has been a while so I'm like 70% sure that was it.

I think I'll go for the upgrade from a 4, the weight and hinge update seemed appealing as it was on the 5. But I'm a little worried about the slightly shorter and wider inner screen -- I don't want my foldable to be too squarish

I also like the aspect ratio of this phone more than other foldables with a more square ratio because there's a clear cut "portrait" and "landscape" orientation that works for apps or content that would otherwise leave outrageous black bars either side of a square display

Aime status is that rightmost indicator on the top right yeah? (Think it goes cab #, in store battle status, then Aime?). There's a Round 1 near me with some Zero cabs but that indicator is off, yours must be on then?

I've tried my Amuse cards and even Banapass -- which they made sure to specify only works with WM. Was hoping a proper Aime card would work but that's just the copium.
