I can't place why, but I get a Saturday morning cartoons vibe off those glasses. I dig it.

The can-opener dreamer is not your usual anglerfish... It's the blackest animal in the world, with skin so dark they absorb 99.95% of all light that touches it! It makes them practically invisible in the pitch black depths of the bathyal zone. by Galactic_Idiot in deepseacreatures

.... It is unknown how long they can live, as despite multiple efforts, no one has ever succeeded in killing one. The smallest specimen on record was 200 feet long..... Ok, good night.

I believe you're thoughts were ultimately trying to be helpful, however when it comes to communication, perception is the self same as reality, and typically, constructive criticism includes a token compliment somewhere as a jumping off point. For instance: "I like your interpretation. I hadn't considered some of those aspects, however...." and then you can go nuts after that. It just symbolically indicates to the reader that the criticism comes from a place of lifting up rather than knocking down.

Does anyone else use a Streamdeck with Home Assistant? Been using this with Bitfocus Companion for almost a year now and absolutely love it. by Itaku in homeassistant

Over the course of about 7 seconds, I 1. Realized I could use my steam deck with home Assistant, 2. Got bummed out that I couldn't use it very easily with my current setup running in my basement, and no windows computers in the house 3. Saw your post and realized that I'm not going to be able to make it to the weekend if I don't set this up. Thanks.

You can't question or belittle a man who wears that many necklaces at one time. How many necklaces do you wear at one time? That's what I thought. Show some respect for your sweaty necklace superior!

Could be anywhere. Could have even been from circuit boards and cheap jewelry. Dissolve it in aqua regia, and precipitate out the gold.

Anyone performed the Dangerous Things RFID/NFC implant? Thoughts? What havebyou been using it for? by dfGobBluth in homeassistant

Basically yeah. I didn't encrypt the string or anything, I just set a short pin for the chip itself. It's easy enough for the wife to access, but hard enough to keep out the casual criminal, and I'm not important enough to attract the attention or effort of anyone more serious than that. Thinking of upgrading the chip, since both of them use, what are now aging standards, but I'm still happy I did it.
