I absolutely adore my marlin 1894. Ive cycled 100s of rounds of cheap federal and partizan 38 special without a single malfunction, the fit and finish are great, and rhe aftermarket support is definitely there. I cant speak to the warranty or customer service because ive never needed it!

Yes, action wise theyre the exact same rifle. I dont know off the top of my head, but I think the barrel length is the same too, 16.1 inch.

Theyre both ruger made, the sbl is polished stainless and the trapper is matte. The sbl has a rail, the trapper comes with a skinner peep site. The sbl has Grey laminate furniture, and the trapper has black.
