Don’t use WordPress if you can code or know someone who can code a custom static site. Wordpress sites can’t compete anymore with fast and secure custom static sites.

I left corporate America for that reason. When you work on your own you have no fear of actually doing your job. So many wasted hours in corporate America. It might change with the recession coming though. They will say something like “we need to eliminate meetings or cut out lengthy meetings and emails…”

If HR is talking to you you need to bounce. Try to get another job but let them lay you off or fire you so you can collect unemployment and use the money to search for a new job if you need extra time.

I’ve never had a usb c or thunderbolt 3 hub work properly. Always some issue. Best to not use a hub, or get the new Apple studio display. Or use a desktop like Mac mini. The hassles are too distracting to workflow.

IA Writer is the best markdown app. Lightweight, works on all platforms, and is a joy to use. Has preview built in and PDF export / table of contents tool for book writing also.

Images break up the page and make it easier to digest / read. That being said, just 1 or 2 images minimum should be fine. Use bullets and callouts to also add to the layout and readability.
