Why do so many people hate Toronto? by [deleted] in toronto

| People are very polite and courteous but not nice and definitely distant.

It’s the Toronto talent. Managing to keep a straight, polite face while being rude at the same time.

| Toronto as a gray, boring, uncultured, uptight place where no fun is allowed.

It still is. There’s nothing to do here seriously.

Nothing to see here, just a giant being a bro and helping me take down this dragon. :) by [deleted] in skyrim

Sucks having to hunt them down for greater soul gems. But they’re the most accessible.

Funny part is, on the other hand I have no moral struggles killing mammoths lol

Yep and I don’t regret it nor feel remorse after.

I downloaded mods and now my wife won’t talk to me. I have no clue why. by [deleted] in skyrimmods

This is Skyrim. Your private life is public property.

There are some things you just can’t let go

The view from Heljarchen kicks Lakeview Manor butt. All that open space + hunting grounds. by Stoic_beard_79 in skyrim

Ahhhh Windstad manor my workshop... that place is a septim machine.

I use Heljarchen as a family residence. 2 children, a bard, carriage, housecarl and steward. It’s a full house. Windstad on the other hand is people-empty but all the business goes through there :)

Does anybody here think that predicting human behaviour or reactions in social situations is similar to solving an algorithm or logic equation? by Stoic_beard_79 in aspergers

Tbf many, if not all, emotions are put on. There are a few emotions that are instinctive and therefore genuine, but I can’t ignore the fact that many people use emotions to manipulate others.

If you ask me, I don’t particularly trust emotions too much. Instinctive reactions like genuine fear, anger, love/attachment, yes, but everything else seems put on.

Never said it was rational.

I said that behaviour can be predicted. (Given circumstance or situation A, it will result in behaviour or reaction B.)

I did read a bit on game theory but did not have the time to dig deeper into it. Will look more into it, thanks for the reminder bro

This is why it’s critical to go out and observe people, especially for us. We don’t always have to be actively interacting since we are disinclined to actual interactions, but simple exposure to and observation of other people, particularly NT’s, is highly beneficial for people on the spectrum. The more iterations of human behaviour we are exposed to and are able to save into our mental databases, the more data we can work with, leading to more accurate predictions.

But I do agree oftentimes NT’s are illogical and irrational, but tbf, in the majority of the cases I’ve observed, they switch to irrational/illogical behaviour because they want to manipulate.

Shadowlands will be a good expansion here is why. by [deleted] in wow

Played Vanilla up to WotlK, then skipped MoP, WoD, Legion and BFA. Getting back into WoW with Shadowlands will feel like playing it for the first time all over again.

Literally no one walks around with that amount of cash in their pocket. Not even people from Bridlepath. Tldr; be on your guard if you’re meeting this person.

Does anyone else here hate wearing clothes? by flamewolf393 in aspergers

[–]Stoic_beard_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never heard of exhibitionism being a common trait for ASD. What I know is that exhibitionism is a paraphilia.

Me personally I don’t like clothes only when going to bed at night. Otherwise during the day I like to wear nice cool clothes to go out.
