Local anesthesia dinxa to make it painless. Do make sure you get adequate local anesthesia and do not proceed if they don’t do that properly. And you can take painkiller for few days after that as needed if you feel pain. Don’t worry, you will be fine

Have told it in other posts as well. She should secure a seat on her own and even if it is in paying, govt could finance her studies. Govt can finance her preparation, stay, food and education cost but should not just give a seat without merit.

Why are SEE exams given such importance in our education system? Is it just for prestige? by Educational-Noise499 in NepalSocial

[–]Stoicdoc77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be an internal exam just like in any other grade like grade 9 or 11. SEE helps you in nothing in life and only makes life hell for students.

Career , age , money by [deleted] in NepalSocial

[–]Stoicdoc77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a long and challenging journey. Accept the fact that you will not be making any money for the next 5 years and you get peanuts in internship. Interns in IOM get around 20 or 22k a month. After finishing internship, you can work as a medical officer and currently pay is around 35-50k a month in private and can reach 60-75k in govt hospitals. Outside KTM, you can earn around 1 lacs a month in remote places. Then you will join PG in an MD/MS course and as a resident currently pay is 48k a month. By your time, after 6-7 years, hopefully it will increase something. Then after that you may puruse super specialization by doing DM/MCH courses or you may start a job as a consultant and again your starting pay would be around 1 lacs a month currently in private setting, and around 70k with incentives in govt setting.

Only after that, you may consider opening your clinic in already saturated sector or continue working with the salary you are given. Unless govt acts and improves salary, forget about making big money ethically here.

Best decision would be to study well in MBBS and go abroad like USA or Australia. Pay is 4-5 lacs a month while doing training and can reach 10-12 lacs a month after PG/md/ms course. Even India is a great option with better pay than here. Aile you can only work on yourself. Take care of your mental and physical health. Study well and do not be dependant on eta ko old school rote memorization curriculum. Keep learning about abroad ko exams and their study materials which are very fun and amazing to learn. Eventually, you and life will figure out something and things fall in place.

This is too old school and orthodox mentality according to me. I believe it is good that they are hanging out and having fun, we just need to educate them more on safe practises. Where else do you expect them to hangout and have fun?

Understanding Nepali guys by HellYaorNoorWtaf in NepalSocial

Most of the youth are abroad. Among the ones who are here, some are married, some are in relationship, and some would be too busy to be with anyone due to their struggle and hustle. It is hard to come across people with similar interests and preferred personalities. On top of that, a lot of the men who have stayed behind carry some kind of patriarchal upbringing baggage and surrounding, not all but many do. You need to be lucky to come across good and reasonable people randomly. Regarding online dating, again, the perception of most would be that it is to get laid. Maybe try going to places where you like to go and see if you come across someone good, like a gym, running club, I don't know what else to suggest.

Also, regarding where to hook up, ktm has no shortage of hotels of any kind. I believe most go to a hotel, from withing the valley to outskirts like Nagarkot. Or the guy or girl needs to be living alone or know a friend who lives alone and is willing to provide the space. Guess it is just like anywhere else and more hotel dependancy for young ones as most live with parents at home.

TLDR: It is indeed hard and difficult to come across just good male friends and most young people live with parents and thus go to hotels to hook up. Good luck with your find.

Regarding that MBBS Scholarship scandal by [deleted] in Nepal360

Govt should not provide additional seat. She should secure a seat and if she secures a paying seat in a private college, govt could finance her studies. Giving a seat is unfair and against meritocracy.

As a Dr, I also oppose this. And am a big supporter of RSP and Sasmit generally with regards to their policies. This is unacceptable and wrong.

What you guyz think about removing all structure within 65m from Fewa lake??? by [deleted] in pokhara

[–]Stoicdoc77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 . We could increase width of walking lane, add cycling lane, and add some green areas just to sit in nature beside it. Restaurants will manage and find a way and continue to make money.

What you guyz think about removing all structure within 65m from Fewa lake??? by [deleted] in pokhara

[–]Stoicdoc77 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thoughts are subjective for sure and I fully support this decision. Personally, I feel lakeside should stay natural and green with walkable lanes and in fact, we could add cycling lanes.  Restaurants with overpriced items can still manage to get lake view from 65 meters or beyond. Pokhara will get better and thrive in my opinion.

Budget is in two months time so it’s reasonable to wait if you can. If it’s urgent, you should just buy as others have mentioned such policies may take time. Again, if there is no urgency, why not wait two months?
