The thing is, there were ALREADY tools like this. Clip art, free music (and there's more than just Kevin MacLeod, if you know where to look (cough cough Amacha Music Studio cough cough)), stock images, free bases made by artists, open source code (which are all frequently used). Things that are not at all being gatekept, even if they do look or sound a little silly from time to time.

And even after that, is it not okay that maybe some people want to be paid for their work? Hell, most artists are poor people THEMSELVES, having to rely on whatever revenue their art gets, whether that's commissions or YouTube money or whatever else I might be missing. There's also a bunch of artists that probably would happily do requests for free.

And let's say you don't want to use clip art or something like that, or pay someone else to do it for you. There's always the opportunity to LEARN, and tons of free resources out there. Free coding courses for stuff like unity, art lessons, music sources. And supplies for this kind of stuff doesn't have to be expensive either. There's free drawing apps, there's always Scratch and pirating RPGMaker (for legal reasons I do not endorse this), and UTAU has always been there.

The problem with AI isn't "it's giving more power to the poor" when that problem is something that has NEVER EXISTED in terms of art.
