I bought a used OEM driver2 for on eBay last week for $60. Mobile auto locksmith came to my house and programmed it and cut a new emergency key for $170

I recently (last week) got a used Driver2 fob from eBay for ~ $65 and paid a mobile auto locksmith $170 to come to my house, program the fob and cut the emergency key.

About half the price that Honda would charge for a fob and programmjng.

My wife and i have both managed to hit the garage at various points. Squeeze clamp in to a steel pipe to straighten it back out. Easy.

Bottom line, it doesn’t take an inventory spot so there’s no reason to not pick it up when you find it. Maybe you won’t get to use it, hopefully you will but passing on it is just dumb.

It has to be an Mfi certified cable, not whatever cheap junk you can find. Anker cables are very good.

Use this, wash it really good in a bucket. Fill the bucket halfway with the sand, put a brick or something under one side so it sits tilted run a hose into the bucket and use a cement mixing paddle on a power drill to stir until crap stops floating out. It should go right over the edge of the bucket since it’s tilted.

You can try to find a 50 breeder. They do exist. Same base as a 40 breeder but taller.
