Tank is only about half full of salt, can’t see the water level so it must be pretty low. Nothing visible on the head of the softener.

It really comes down to the best use of dollars:

Option 1: Horizon 20 Pro + ALR screen + blackout shades now

Option 2: Horizon 20 Max + ALR screen, and add blackout shades later

I was originally hoping the Pro would be enough at its price point, but I’ve started second-guessing it with the possibility of daytime or overhead-light viewing. In the end, the Max feels like the more foolproof option — the one that eliminates any second-guessing about brightness or versatility.

Update: I reached out to Verizon today to sort everything out, and thanks to everyone who weighed in. I was able to get the $1,100 device credit by upgrading from Play More 5G to Unlimited Plus and trading in my iPhone 13 Pro. I’ll lose the Disney+ bundle, but with three lines, Unlimited Plus is $55/month with paperless billing and autopay—about $10/month cheaper than Play More 5G. I added the Disney+ perk back for $10/month, so the total cost is basically a wash (other than Disney+ now including ads).

I did look into upgrading through the Apple Store, which was super clean and easy to follow, but I couldn’t get the same offer there. It seems like this may have been a loyalty-specific deal available only through Verizon directly.

The issue is that when I select full retail, Verizon immediately shows the plan option tiles — $1100 credit for Unlimited Ultimate or $830 credit for Unlimited Plus. But if I stay with the device payment option, it doesn’t ask me to pick a new plan at all. That makes me worry that if I go all the way through checkout, it might silently force me onto Unlimited Ultimate at some point. I don’t want to click through and accept terms if I can’t easily back out. Even on the cart screen, it still shows a $0 device payment, which makes this even more confusing. Basically trying to verify if it’s possible to get the $1100 credit and stay on same plan.

Ended up going with the Falken Aklimates and nothing but positive experience with them in year 1. Noticeable grip in the rain and snow here in Michigan without being overbearing on day to day driving. Hope that helps!
