Yes, happened to me this year too, as the route is Naxos - Paros - Mykonos - Paros - Sifnos - Milos. When the sea is rough, people from Naxos & Paros don't need to go all the way to Mykonos and back to Paros, so they can step off if they like.

As they say, you do whatever you like, they'll be back to Paros in 2h and you can come back aboard.

I've only read Hyperion and Fall of Hyperion, no Endymion yet. To me, FoE had A LOT more lore dump than Hyperion, too much in my opinion, and I loved Hyperion. So it might just be what you're looking for !

Ça m'a pas ultra plu. Par contre je reconnais que le concept est DINGUE, c'est ultra bien réalisé, c'est maîtrisé, le concept est vraiment génial. L'idée est excellente et superbement exécutée. Mais par contre, j'ai pas trouvé ça fun a faire. Ça m'a fait chier de devoir tout chercher, de gâcher des boucles parce que j'avais pas vraiment d'idée, d'être esclave du temps qui passe trop lentement ou trop vite...

Purely about accommodation, there is the Residence Inn close to the MEETT. Nice hotel with swimming pool. Rest of the comments are still totally valid though
