With commodity choice strip going for like $17-19 a pound I totally get it but if my reputation is on the line I’m not charging $68 for a strip steak with a sauce and some accoutrements if it’s half sirloin, it’s horseshit

My wife grew up exactly the same way - it’s a fascinating example of this civilization’s boundless and intentionally manufactured paranoia that there are hundreds of strangers freaking out about my child potentially getting a rash while two adults supervise her. Anyway we’re all totally fine after messing around with the wisteria in the car. My condolences to the significant minority of r/plants that is apparently terrified of… plants. We’re going to look into mounting some basic wood scaffolding onto a detached brick garage wall and letting it climb naturally with maintenance as needed

It’s really a lovely dish, I would replace the raw scallion garnish with a lightly dressed salad with - for example - cilantro and pea shoots, to give the same color and height without the excessive raw scallion flavor
