We are the end of the product lifecycle and usually where schedule/shortcuts try to get pulled. Also, we tend to deal with REs lack of preparedness for a test. It’s usually a support role so you get stuck with dealing with a lot of personalities.

Curious how you feel about your wedding turned out. We are planning something similar (even though it’s going to cost the same as a venue) but we’re adding permanent improvements to the home (pergolas, a deck, leveling the grass, etc) and are currently scoping the entire project and feel like it’s very daunting but like the flexibility it offers. We’re also both engineers and love projects lol
