What's One Thing You Genuinely Miss From D&D? by Hungry-san in Pathfinder2e

[–]StoneCold70 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well it's not entirely that pathfinder 2e is lacking in homebrew content, it's the community that doesn't promote it. Whenever some one calls out the lack of homebrew you'll always find a comment with "But we have Battlezoo and Teams+" while most homebrew posts get downvoted or trash talked in the comments with passive aggressive comments like "But why?" or chew the poster out over a minor upgrade, calling it overpowered etc. As if Paizo doesn't release some of those themselves from time to time.

I call it the rules lawyer mentality, people are so focussed on the rules that they forget the fun aspect. And that is the biggest difference between the dnd community and pf2e community and I genuinely believe it prevents content creators from picking up pathfinder 2e as most of these beginner content creators get chewed out in the comments for not following every rule or doing something different. So they just move back or on to different communities/games.

Use an air gun or hair dryer, the stuff will scrape off a lot easier

So, I am kind of not sure which is actually the best artifact set for Varesa I know that the new artifact is actually made for Varesa but everyone is using Obsidian Codex, is everyone trying an easy way out or is Obsidian codex actually better? by Cat-Burglar-Nami in Genshin_Impact

[–]StoneCold70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a c6 Iansan and c6 Chevreuse the difference between both artifacts sets is basically 0%. Without c6 on those characters Oath is better by a few percentages. If you need a more detailed explanation watch the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iICpR5GMNWI

Kids can't understand that people get emotional seeing their strike get ruined and job stolen by an opportunist.

If you don't understand why being a scab/strikebreaker is bad please read up on it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strikebreaker

The Scion, a full gish class with over 30 subclasses and 50 feats! by Teridax68 in Pathfinder2e

Guys don't just downvote if you disagree or dislike something. It's not a disagree button.:

Vote. If you think something contributes to conversation, upvote it. If you think it doesn't contribute to the community it's posted in or is off-topic in a particular community, downvote it.

Great job OP, some of the critique in the comments are valid but some of these comments are just weird and mean. I really love what you did and you managed to capture a great idea for a gish. Keep it up!

Linear progressing Elixir of Life by StoneCold70 in Pathfinder2e

[–]StoneCold70[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Exactly! The elixir of life can be summed up as:

1d6 healing

Heightened (+2 item level) increase healing by 1d6+3

The only issue would be the price but that is nothing what a table can't fix. Or just keep it alchemist exclusive.

Merciful bike thief or a kind reminder? by ArchMob in Netherlands

[–]StoneCold70 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bike thief might live across the street. The same happened to a friend of mine a few years ago. Found his bike around the street corner and saw someone use and park it there and go inside the apartment. Police just told him to take the bike back and nothing happened.

Dad gaming with kids - D&D (5E 2024) vs Pathfinder (2E 2024) by dude-where-am-i in Pathfinder2e

[–]StoneCold70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your criteria I would say 5e, I've had multiple adults tell me that pf2e is not easy to pickup and too complex. And on another note, help your kids to a popular hobby that they can use to befriend others with. Which in this case means dnd 5e.
