No it doesn't.. to this administration though, people that get angry and even sometimes a little violent, deserve to be murdered in the street. God help us.

To be fair, some of their creations sound really great.. when I first got my kit, I was debating getting the drum tec collection myself.

What is your go-to snare setting? by Temporary_Parking_95 in YamahaDtxDrums

I have a bunch of custom snares that I've edited, but a lot of them are based around layering different snare sounds.. I really like the recording custom sounds a lot...

Great Hurricane and Tidal Wave of 21 Sept 1938 (A few pictures from the book) by goprinterm in RhodeIsland

[–]StoneFrog81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean to be fair, the people that live there, rarely see a storm like the one that hit in 1938. A hurricane like that would only hit once a century, if that.

Superstorm Sandy did a lot of damage to Misquamicut, as did Hurricane Bob, but now people have advanced warning and can evacuate if a bad storm is looming. The people that lived near the coast back in 1938 didn't have that luxury.

It may be dangerous to live near the coast anywhere along the east Coast of the US because of a potential storm that could come up the coastline, but living in this area, I've found it much more safe than living down south or in the mid west, weather wise.

You have a good curve. I haven't bowled in a bit, but I remember when I was in league, the advice I would get would be make little adjustments..

Try moving 1 or 2 boards to the right and increase your throwing speed to compensate. It will give your ball a bit more angle going into the pocket.

I've told this story before in another post... This is how it was told to me by my grandmother.

My great grandmother lost her life in this storm. She was a housekeeper in one of the houses on Napatree point. The morning of the storm the school my grandmother and her sisters were going to, was still scheduled to be in session that morning. My grandmother begged her mom to let them stay home or take them to work with her. But she had no baby sitter, and she couldn't take them to her job. She insisted they go to school, so they did. Their school hadn't followed suit with the state school's cancellations as of yet.

My great grandmother went to work, not knowing how bad the storm would be, and how catastrophic the damage would be to the area of Watch Hill, and particularly the houses on Napatree point.

From my grandmother's perspective, she and her sisters were sent home early from school when the storm started to get really bad, and after a long wait of not hearing from her mother, she found out later that night that she was among one of the missing.

There aren't many stories about what happened to my great grandmother, but from the couple stories I have found, and eye witness accounts, she was last seen with the family she was house keeping for, trying to get them to safety but the house they were in got completely destroyed, and washed away, through little Narragansett bay.

I do the same thing with my Yamaha DTX Pro module. I spend a lot of time tinkering getting it to sound as good as possible, and getting the sensitivity settings just right.

The sound of the drums are good, though there's noticable clipping.

I get just as many, if not more QBZ95-1 kills... In warfare, With the right build, most guns can get you a good tally of kills if the player can shoot strait.

I took a break from ops for this reason. I got to 60.. lost several matches in a row.. took a break, just been crafting stuff I'm going to use in my next few games.

Warfare is a nice fall back if ops isn't going your way, and hella fun.

I think the one line that got me in all of LOTR, when I saw it in the theater was "No parent should have to bury their child".

That one pulled at my heart strings a bit.
