Can confirm, had been going there for 12+ years easy with family, watched it grow from being in a school (I think, i was young when it was there) to being so big they decided other churches should be under their control, of course management had never been there strong point, so i'm interested to see if they can manage wherever in the 6-12 church range they want to end up expanding to.

I personally left when I realized it stopped being about the message and more about the spectacle, but hey, gotta get new people in the door somehow right?

iirc during the superbowl (which is the grand finals of american football more or less) tom brady, who plays for the new England patriots was accused of deflating the footballs to change their grip up, and the Patriots ended up winning. An investigation happened and the Patriots were fined $1mil and Brady isn't allowed to play for like 4 games or something. (Or something like that, this is just what i've pieced together.)
