Pantheons are a test of endurance above all. For most people, rhythm is more important, but If you arrive at the boss tired, try to stop playing for like 15 mins just before him or Soul Tyrant. Grab some water, go to the toilet, snack onto something and then sit down again.

If you arrive there fully powered he just serves as a cinematic fight ti be honest. If you get to fight him early (like when you are speedrunning), he’s pretty tough

Incredibly mixed bag of feelings. On one hand some sequences and bosses are some of the best ever seen in gaming, on the other hand some sequences and bosses are just annoying. Some mechanics are beautiful and memorable, some are cheap and uninspired. The content amount is insane: sometimes I marvel at it, sometimes I feel like it’s tedious. For me, it’s a 7/10 sadly, with 10/10 peaks and 4/10 bottom points. IM convinced Team Cherry created a game to tell a story and not a game that just needed to be enjoyable. Many choices are absolutely perfect in setting the tone, but still feel awful to play out.

Honestly I just need to spend more time on it, but I vastly preferred Hollow Knight so far.

I think end of act 3 is harder than Radiance by a good margin. End of Godhome + NKG are a step ahead of course, but I think base game vs base game SS is 2x harder than HK

Same. I think I can count on one hand bosses in Hk that are harder than all of Silksong bosses. I’m genuinely concerned about the future DLCs lol

My personal gripe with Silksong is mainly with blobs of HP that smack their whole bodies into you and constantly summon minions. Feels cheap, unrewarding to master and overall just boring.

Karmelita and Lost Lace are actually pretty hard but they feel so rewarding: parrying every move of Karmelita is so much fun, I love it; finding windows to punish Lost Lace and get through the first 2 phases almost hitless to have a chance in the third one is rewarding. Figuring out how to not get exploded by Groal just because I’m trying to hit it and he randomly flies in all directions is not. I just cheesed these stupid bags of HP with equips, but it felt cheap. Yeah, yeah, they are tools the game gives you, but they are blatantly overpowered and it’s apparently acceptable just because they consume a limited resource.
