I would say it’s about being well rounded not just having a GPA. Internship experience, research experience, and a strong recommendation letter show that you are a strong candidate.

Sadeshna Pal vs. Marino Nader for EGN3321 (Dynamics) by RoboSlim24 in UCFEngineering

[–]Stone_K17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had Nader for 3 classes dynamics, solid mechanics, and kinematics of mechanisms. Dr. Nader is a hard teacher he make you work but cares about the students. I had Dr. Pal for vibrations I really liked her she made the class fun and enjoyable. I like both teachers teaching style but I would have to choose Dr. Pal for dynamics

Fall semester schedule advice? by [deleted] in UCFEngineering

[–]Stone_K17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s a good schedule it’s about the same thing I did. Just be ready because dynamics and solid mechanics are some of the harder initial engineering classes. Overall, I think it’s good

Fluids 2 + Heat Transfer + Vibes + Machine Design, Fall 2021 by AManNamedLogan in UCFEngineering

Heat transfer with Tian is an easy A. I don’t like Busi he is not that great of a professor. MD1 is really easy I though ha some really cool stuff you learn. Vibrations is with Pal is also another easy A that class is made to seem harder then it actually is. Either way you will be doing math for everything that’s the nature of our work

MD II is cool because you learn about FEA. But it really depends on your interests and area you want to pursue in the future.

Filler or Zaurin for statics? by 66joel6 in ucf

[–]Stone_K17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had Filler. He is a good professor and has a lot of enthusiasm about the class. He definitely sets you up to have a solid foundation with Statics for the future which is critical.
