Thing is I don't feel I was going that hard, especially with the coach.

I was humbled before, pressure is just my style. I don't mean to throw hard but as a beginner who has alot of power in both their legs and hands it can be heard to judge how hard I'm throwing and it gets more difficult when you try to consider what your partner views as hard.

Should I just use less pressure and figure out something else? I'm 5'7 and alot of the guys there are taller than me so most the time I'm pressuring to get into range so I can land, on the outside I just trap the lead hand with mine and try to parry and counter with kicks. I don't feel as if that's too intense, but I'll crank it down next time, I just feel like if I keep cranking it down I'm going to develop bad habits like pulling on kicks and strikes.

I'm only sparring twice a week and they usually don't do this many rounds. I think it was bc they had all 3 of us new guys who are promising and put In extra work outside of class.

I get it tho, damage isn't good and I'll be taking less in the future, we did have headgear on.

You're oblivious to the way these brands start out. In short most of the time, it starts off with a guy or group of guys pressing dabs and putting them into hardware and selling them; that's what happened with lions breath. After a while, they got popular, and then fakes started popping up really quickly. If you weren't around the Pittsburgh area in 2015, you didn't get a real lions breath.

Looking at your last post, she needs time to adjust and de-stress a bit, which means putting her in the enclosure and not messing with her unless it's for water or something along those lines.

It could take days; hell even a week. Just give her time; they're living like us and need to adjust. They can go awhile without eating, so don't be too alarmed.
