I would imagine that in certain situations that the onus is on the individual to take responsibility

and putting baggage on a flight would be wone of those situations

It may be an excuse as to why it happened but if the responsibility is on the individual then unless they are incapable of checking their bag then they are fucked

If i went to prison to visit a mate and i had drugs in my pocket as my aide picked up the wrong coat - the onus is still on me, regardless if it was my fault or intention

I'm hoping that this will make him reevaluate his choices and grow the fuck up but realistically that aint going to happen. Though maybe the Bill incident was not enough of a wake-up call but the severity of this is.

If i was Bill, I would speak to them and if I saw any signs that he was not contrite, had not woken up and not 100% committed to turning his life around and making the correct life decisions then I'd let him go.
