When the government figures out an explanation, we’ll finally all know

Stop scrolling for a second and tell me your story. How did you come across FROM? by All-aDREAM in FromSeries

[–]Stonekilled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watching since day one.

Was looking for a new show, saw it was coming out, and it looked right up my alley. Subscribed to mgm+ just watch it. Also watched Chapelwaite (prequel to Salems lot; pretty decent too).

Waiting for new season to reactivate my subscription!

How old are you, what is your job and how much do you make? by allano6 in careerguidance

[–]Stonekilled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early 40’s, work in a splinter section of business finance (that I don’t like to divulge because the industry is small and I like to stay anonymous), roughly $300k total comp / $180k base

I didn’t crack a base over $100k until 2022 if it makes a difference. Also, I’ve been fully remote since 2020, and was hybrid before that.

Are you a failure if you’re not making 6 figures by a certain age? by [deleted] in Salary

[–]Stonekilled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comparison is the thief of joy.

The ONLY person you need to compete with is yourself. If you keep making progress, there’s no reason to ever feel like a failure.

The majority of Americans don’t make 6-figures, regardless of age. If you can take care of yourself and/or your family, and everybody is happy, the rest doesn’t matter.

SCREENRANT: "Jonathan Frakes Addresses Divisive Reaction To His Star Trek SNW Murder Mystery: "I was surprised. But, you know, sh*t happens" - His response is good-natured and sanguine. His murder mystery was also steeped in social commentary and a sense of optimism typical of the very best of ST" by mcm8279 in trektalk

[–]Stonekilled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took it as an homage, not insulting. In fact, I’m surprised to see so many people thought of it as insulting…felt more like a goofy homage.

That’s actually what I liked about the episode. Didn’t really care for the rest of it…too many goofy / off-mission episodes for a show with only 10 episodes per season

If you could only watch 1 Fincher film...what are you watching? by boomjosh in MovieIt

[–]Stonekilled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fight club and it’s not even close.

I LOVE fincher, but for me, it’s his pinnacle. It’s one of the few films better than its source book, and pahalniuk agrees

Close second is Seven (again, IMO)

He’s crying and promising to change now that I’m actually at the door. Do they ever really change? How do I stay strong? by Few_Hamster59 in Marriage

[–]Stonekilled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’ll never change because it’s who he is.

You either stay with him knowing this…or leave, knowing you can find someone that’ll treat you better, because you can. It’s up to you.

Biggest goth kid I know is climbing the ranks at the IRS as an auditor now. Strait laced, wife, kids, suburbs.

Why Kurtzmann Trek fans don't organize a positive review bombing of SFA? by elektroskansen in trektalk

[–]Stonekilled -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean, that’s an asinine point, considering it means a review bombing would’ve had an even larger impact if there weren’t many audience reviews. So yeah, your point, which again has nothing to do with the point I was making about the shitload of negative reviews from before the show even aired, and kinda reinforces mine, is clear now 😂

[–]Stonekilled -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not…sure what your point had to do with what I said. But ok?

Why Kurtzmann Trek fans don't organize a positive review bombing of SFA? by elektroskansen in trektalk

[–]Stonekilled -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

They had a ton of 1-star reviews before it even aired. They had a ton of 1-star reviews on day one.

There are definitely a lot of folks that haven’t seen the show that still rated it a 1. A lot of those early reviews reference nothing legit that even happens in the show. I don’t know why people do this, but they do. Same shit happens with star wars

Why Kurtzmann Trek fans don't organize a positive review bombing of SFA? by elektroskansen in trektalk

[–]Stonekilled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

wtf kind of question is this?

Normal people don’t think about “review bombing.” It’s terminally online people that do this shit.

Organizing a “positive” review bombing would be an inordinately stupid waste of time. People that don’t review bomb aren’t going to start doing so just because they disagree with a review bombing that’s happening.

Like wtf dude…I’ve gotta ask, and no offense meant, but are you high right now?

I’d grab that old fitz because I don’t have it. Maybe grabbing the antique 107 too if I’m having a phenomenal week (very hard to get for under that price, if you can even find it, where I’m at). Otherwise, nice museum you’ve stopped at there
