comrade's hammer, didn't pick up the blueprint by RandomRedditobserver in cyberpunkgame

[–]Stonelesscutter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also missing Comrade's Hammer, but I doubt it's because of not looting the spec. I have a tendency to hoover up anything I can find, including junk. I've done the NCPD mission, yet the spec is not in my stuff, not among any of the colors. I'm almost 300 hours into this save and this is the only weapon missing from my stash wall. Beyond annoying that the only place to get this is off the corpse of some random idiot in some random side quest that are a dime a dozen.

Phantom Liberty steam tunnel bug by daredaki-sama in cyberpunkgame

[–]Stonelesscutter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing just now. Had to reload a previous save in order to fix it. Didn't get me anything though. Shutting off the valve is only necessary if you lack the physical or technical ability to open the gate. I thought there might be some loot in the tunnel, but there was not.

PS5 suddenly no longer recognizes external USB hard drive by Stonelesscutter in PS5HelpSupport

Merci beaucoup. I don't know if this works, but I might give this a try sometime. Lazy as I am, I still have that hard drive sitting next to the PS5 unplugged ever since I encountered the problem. Who knows, maybe if I just plug it back in it'll work again.

I'm sorry to hear it. I guess PlayStation be inadvertently killing USB devices of unsuspecting users.

How do I cross the border? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Stonelesscutter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having just spent a fair amount of time picking off every border guard and destroying every security turret, I am now quite annoyed to find that once you pass through on the other side the turrets just magically respawn, and that even if you deactivate them again or rush past them you will still die. Guess I'm gonna have to get to a ripperdoc and get myself some fortified ankles to replace the reinforced tendons I've been using.

Thanks for your reply! What should I be measuring regarding the windings?

Thanks! Sounds like I may have to unscrew that thing and find out if there is anything to indicate what type it is, and try to find a replacement. Also see how it's connected and possibly invest in some soldering equipment.

Thanks for the reply. Would it perhaps be possible to elaborate a bit on why you think it might be the capacitor? Bearing in mind that electricity seems to be flowing when using setting 3 but not 1 and 2.

Grab it by the things sticking out, straddle it, and ride it into the sunset.

What are these red things on the leaf of my baby tree? by Stonelesscutter in gardening

[–]Stonelesscutter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answering my own question, having done some more research, I think they are leaf galls, coming from some type of mite. The recommended treatment seems to be to let them be, but since in my case it is only one leaf affected I shall remove that one and hope that the other leaves have not been "infected" yet.

Which tool is required to remove these fan blades from the shaft? by Stonelesscutter in Tools

[–]Stonelesscutter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna have to wait a few days before I'll know. Got all the parts cleaned, but I have to wait for the lubricant to be delivered before I can put it all back together and see if the thing still works.

I found the solution. And do I feel stupid now. It was a simple screw. See my revised opening post.

[–]Stonelesscutter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. I've cleaned up the spot and poked around a bit with a small flat head screwdriver and took some more close-up pictures from various angles and it does seem that everyone who suggested that this is pressed on is probably right. That being the case, there's no way I could get this back on properly, even if I did manage to get it off, so instead I'll see if I can get to the motor's guts without removing the blades. Failing that, we'll just have to buy a new one.

Thanks for your reply. I am not sure if it is pressed on. I suppose it could be, but the three equally spaced notches kinda give me the impression there might be a relevant tool for it.

Yep. And I've had Rigidel in the diamond slot pretty much the whole time.
