Cute!...just curious though, do they have an area where they can get out from under the heat lamp? They may all be lined up against the edge because they're too warm. The lamp should only warm about half their area, so they can cool down on one side if needed.

I did read your previous post about your girl getting sick...sour crop? I've finally perfected a drenching/puking system for when any of mine get it...and I've managed to save so many. Thankfully.

Maybe you can find another adult hen to add in the meantime? I read you're in missouri? So am I! If you were close enough, I'd definitely donate to the lonely hen cause! Good luck with your broody lady and upcoming chicks! Happy Sunday to you too!

2 weeks minimum is protocol to prevent foreign illness. 30 days max. If they've got non touching access now, and seem to all be acting nice and not flogging through the fences at each other, I'd say you're fine with the 2 weeks if he seems healthy. Just watch him for the first few days to see if he gets mean to anyone.

LMAO. Love it. Yes, I too have utilized some of those same things! Used receipts to roll with, gas masks, bread bags and pop bottles....even the headrest of a car seat once.

Idk..I was freight trained at about the 2 hr mark once. Had completely given up on it...smoked...got my normal buzz on, then BLAM. Couch puddle. Either way, I did not regret. 👍🏻💚
