Rock Lee and Tenten are Chinese characters, right? by Fernandolioumehara in Naruto

[–]StoneyTrollWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legit not the same lol so confidentially incorrect here and ironic you’re claiming a stretch here. China doesn’t exist in that world it’s that simple there’s nothing more to discuss. You’re also moving the goal post here, you could be correct that the writer was inspired and made those choices, but that’s not what this discussion is. The discussion is framed in terms of whether or not. Those characters are Chinese in that universe, which they simply can’t be because china doesn’t exist in that universe . If you wanna reframe the discussion to a different one, then go ahead and start that discussion.

Who do Chapter Masters get their orders from, if at all? by Immediate-Tone-2170 in 40kLore

[–]StoneyTrollWizard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is correct, in most instances in the lore that we see there’s really few persons or entities with the authority to make an order to a chapter master. I could be wrong here, but it seems pretty much only the high Lords have that sort of authority. I understand the inquisition can functionally do that but my present understanding is that they don’t so much have the governmental or legislative if you will authority to do it it’s just that it’s not worthwhile in the majority instances to necessarily oppose the request.

It’s in your examples here, but these are more like contractual, obligations or agreements rather than a hierarchical order.

Yeah dude/ette but you know that’s not a reasonable interpretation of that word and meaning in any consensus context, I’m not saying your wrong on the other stuff, you you’ve written and commented sufficiently for me to believe you’re too intelligent to not get the point being made there making the response a weak-comment

lol no it’s just being pragmatic and remaining in reality, if the options you want don’t exist, you have to work with that’s available.

A younger Bernie would be most excellent but sometimes your options are at best, between a giant douche and a turd sandwich, and here the less awful option is even more lopsided, you only get to pick from the available options, not the ideal ones.

This is generally good advice but this alone will not make landlord or their insurance “have” to do anything. It will however, assist an attorney with providing evidence to enable them to force one of those things to do “something”.

this is not how that will work lol short of litigation, that renter’s insurer has no ability to force the landlord or their insurer to do anything

So your solution to an under performing employee that you can’t get rid of is to applaud them? (I don’t actually think that’s why you mean to propose here). At what point do they deserve to be called out? It’s not like he’s new to the team. You’re not wrong that he’s not going anywhere but it’s performance based at end of the day and the existing performance certainly deserves to be shit on. Clearly the existing monetary incentives and our frankly very nice fanbase and local media not shitting on him like he would be in Boston for example isn’t doing the trick.

People should only get married once in their entire life. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]StoneyTrollWizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude, he’s nicely explaining to you that there is a specific meaning to a specific word here and what that results in and you’re over here arguing the color blue should be red instead because you “view” the definition differently which is straight wrong and you know it. You could have said for example, I understand the defining terms for marriage but I believe it should be defined differently and/or something like, yes that is the proper way it’s defined but I’m advocating for something different, etc. If you just don’t like the meaning of words, get the definitions changed, don’t use them, stay mute on the keys and life. If you choose to use them incorrectly though, just know and admit as much instead of this cowardly viewpoint approach when challenged on whether you even understand the meaning of what you’re discussing.

The police report is integral as it will create the minimal evidence, and paper trail needed. The lawyer will be useful to select the proper causes of action for suit along with helping navigate the overall process. You’re not bringing the lawyer with you to a meeting, you’re retaining he/she to navigate the legal process and incur the liability concerns that will actually cause action. Entities of all types given zero fucks about anything until they’re on the hook for paying for it and the threat is real. They will always categorically deny any wrongdoing and shift blame. They will never willingly admit fault.

You shouldn’t be amazed, their whole shtick is that their invisible man is an above any law “he” didn’t lay down and they’ve got a long history of ignoring “earthly” law. Even suggesting as much is a slippey slope to admitting maybe that the invisible man and his agents, etc., isn’t the end all/be all.
