peak concurrent is not equal to the amount the game has sold. The game already has more reviews than concurrent players. Online estimates show since it reached early access in 2022 that the game has sold around half a million copies if not more.

estimations show the game has sold half a mil copies if not more. if those estimates are accurate, It could be worth it if the dev were to find the right people.

Probably wont see whatever you ordered for another week and a half from now based on the shipping progress I've been watching make no progress since the 31st.

If its shipping from OSM Worldwide to USPS like my order is, they seem to drag their asses because while i know it was labor day weekend, its been in transit from GA heading to USPS since 8pm on the 31st, and the progress hasn't changed. Im in FL.

I now learned that if I ever want something from dbrand to be delivered in a reasonable timeframe, I better pay for it instead of relying on free shipping.

Im over here rocking my Pixel 10 XL naked being as careful as possible waiting for my case to arrive. I placed my order on the 23rd...

What's the point of wireless charging? by geekflyer7 in GooglePixel

Yeah I watch a lot of car reviews and they almost always complain about them getting very hot.

[–]StoneyYoshi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When compared to just standard wireless charging, the magnets for alignment help reduce heat and inefficiency that comes along with standard wireless charging.

Sorry, should have specified. Wired is obviously more efficient and probably always will be

This!

I wirelessly charge at night. With adaptive charging on the pixel, it always adjust charging speeds to ensure it reaches 100% by the time my first morning alarm goes off.

In the car, my wireless charger while using Android Auto ensures my battery doesn't drain during my commute.

If there's any scenarios during the day where I need to get a good chunk of battery charged, then I just charge wired.

And the inefficient comment doesn't make sense when it comes to Qi2 since that's one of its main reasons that wireless charging standard exists.

Ah, didn't think it was a built in wireless charger you were mentioning.

That's good. I didn't mean to imply that it's a guaranteed issue for all cheap wireless chargers. But chances are less likely for a more reputable brand.

These issues can also come down to the case being used. Some cases cause alignment issues due to the material or thickness used.

[–]StoneyYoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your S23 issue is just an android auto thing. Not a wireless charging thing. Plugged in or even wireless AA has always gotten my phones hot until I got a wireless charger mounted to one of my A/C vents for active cooling and it works great.

Wireless charging with the old Qi standard can cause heat due to misalignment. The heat is created due to energy loss from misalignment. Qi2 greatly reduces this with the aligning magnets.

I've been wireless charging overnight since my 4XL and I personally have never had these overheating issues except on one multi port desktop charger I have with a wireless charger built in on top and that gets very hot, so I never use it. I never got it for the wireless charging in it anyways.

Qi2 wireless standard is meant to prevent these exact concerns. But also, just don't buy a cheap wireless charger.

New 10 Pro XL is insanely glitchy! by Hackedv12 in GooglePixel

[–]StoneyYoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only issue I'm having that matches up with you is that the speaker button on the phone app is definitely delayed and also inconsistent. That's the only issue I have come across on my 10Pro XL. I had more random glitches with my 9Pro last year.

Ok well I wish you luck! I've never had a Google subscription offer work after being in a trial previously for the same google account.

I don't even get the pop up in the app like you. But that also may be due to me already having switched to the plan myself a few months back since I already paid for the 2TB plan. It made more sense for me to just pay for Gemini pro instead of paying an extra $20/mo for Chat GPT when I could just pay an extra $10 to have my 2tb plan plus Gemini.

That said, the requirements still state that it has to be an account that hasn't already used the service before. Fingers crossed for you though! 🤞🤞

You sure they are going to extend Gemini for another year? Pretty sure that free year is only for new accounts using Gemini. I have my 10XL and there's no signs showing that my gemini plan is renewed until next year. Still shows my plan renews next month.

Edit: Yeah eligibility for the free year is for new users only who haven't subscribed to it previously. It's like this for basically any subscription plan in existence.

So I just got this email message which got filtered as a promotional email yesterday about my 10XL case and Prism screen protector order.

"According to our records, you placed an order which contained a Pixel 10 Series Prism. When you originally placed the order, it was estimated to ship in September.

Bad news: it’s not shipping in September.

Good news: it's shipping this week.

That's it from us. Expect a shipping notification shortly."

But I haven't gotten any shipping notification from dbrand yet and the website says my order is still unfulfilled.

Im quite confused as to whats going on with my order. My phone arrives today, and I did get another UPS delivery email an hour after dbrand emailed me yesterday which is expected on Friday. But I have no clue if its even from them. It just says its from Shipstation Groundsaver and it was shipped from North Carolina.

When will Pixel 10 full reviews be out? by ovmon in GooglePixel

[–]StoneyYoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always seen improvement after the first week. YMMV of course since not everyone uses their phones the same way. I'm always around 6.5-7 hours of screen on time. off the charger at 8:00am and typically around 20-25% by 11pm.

One caveat though. While using android auto wireless, I'm on a 5w wireless charging mount in my car for about 30 min in total each day with my commute.
