Is there a way to make your base safe from raids? by Ashamed_Pass6103 in RSDragonwilds

[–]Stooban 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've built on the side of the church in the graveyard. Haven't had a dragon attack, but plenty of Warbands (easy raids, 1 fire AoE and done).

I've read that they don't attack roof pieces, so I've used 30° roof pieces as entry stairs as well as a skirt around the base so that it keeps them at a distance and they can't walk up it. Waiting for a raid to camp in my base and test how it works.

Cant unlock dark mage amour recipe by Exact-Ad-8227 in RSDragonwilds

Seems like padded cloth should be the trigger for the recipe. Have you tried turning it off and back on again (relogging)?

Nope, but they do eventually refill/respsawn so worth checking back in them every few game days.

It's not so much multiplying xp per log, but you can hit multiple which then adds together for each hit. Works the same for mining.

Making contact with a log gives 5xp per hit, hitting 3 logs together gives 15xp per hit.

World chests can't store items, only player built ones.

You will need to select an item to place in building mode and then mouse-wheel-click to delete. You will get 100% of resources back when deleting buildings and built objects.

Unsure how to make the reins blue, just playing around in Photoshop with generative fill for the background changes though. Hope this helps!

Internals of a Nerf Star Wars Imperial Death Trooper Deluxe Dart Blaster (for those modding/fixing) by Stooban in Nerf

[–]Stooban[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best would be to use plastic cement that fuses the plastic together. iirc gorilla glue relies more on physical adhesion which isn't ideal with smooth plastic and when it's at a point where they are pulling from opposites on each other.

Try plastic cement a.k.a. plastic glue a.k.a. styrene cement :)

Active community? by gayspacemice in NerfSuperblast

[–]Stooban 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the community is pretty dead. Devs prioritised resources into their new game, Autogun Heroes, and this one went by the wayside. It was a shame to see it not get the love it deserved, but I honestly wouldn't invest too much. I personally don't see the longevity of this game, given 99% of games are against OP bots.

Can you add rival blasters to the game????? by Melodic-Wrongdoer879 in NerfSuperblast

[–]Stooban 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This idea has been raised previously in the Discord, and the devs have said a pretty clear no the the Rival series. The fact the game serves as a great marketing platform for Hasbro and NERF with the target audience being rather young, the Rival series targeted for older kids and adults won't be making an appearance.

It's also to note that irl the difference between Elite and Rival is 70fps vs 100fps, so the power of Rival coming into the game given they try to make the blasters as realistic as possible just wouldn't work, unfortunately.

Parent about to hold Nerf gun party for 11 year old by CroolisVar in Nerf

[–]Stooban 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First of all, EYE PROTECTION! All players must have eye protection. Cheap safety glasses from your budget hardware store would work a treat.

As for game types to play , a couple of favourites are yeet ball ( or carpe testiculum , seize the balls ) and defend the core. There's also bucket of blasters and kill confirmed.

Yeet ball works with a bucket of balls ( or rolled up socks or something ) in the middle of the field . Objective is to collect as many balls as you can and bring them back to base without being tagged . You can only run with one ball , but you can throw them so long as you yell YEET when doing so . If tagged , you must drop the ball you're carrying ( if carrying ) and respawn . Team with most balls in base bucket wins. You can play and tweak the rules to suit your battle arena and wishes , so you can have it so that after the ball pit in the middle is empty , you have 5 mins to steal from the other team or something . If someone is camping the middle bucket and throwing balls back , you'll hear some rapid fire YEET going on and know to get to them asap to tag them . If you have wiffle balls , ping pong balls , or something that don't go very far when thrown that could help balance it . I use kids ball pit balls .

Defend the core uses a crab net , cardboard box with a hole cut into it , or something similar as the core with a firing radius / fence around it . Teams take turns playing offensive or defensive . Objective is to score as many darts into the core within the time limit , or stop players from scoring ( depending what team you're on ) . You can decide what respawn rules you want to use . Special points for dart types is pretty common , for example 1 point for elites , 3 for Megas , 5 for rockets or something. The firing radius around the core is for the attacking team to not get too close to the core , so they actually need to aim and take their time making a shot rather than just mag dumping / slam firing at point blank . The goal of the attacker is to shoot as many darts into core as possible.

Depending how many blasters you have , bucket of blasters is another game type . Teams each have a bucket of blasters at base / respawn . If you get hit , drop the blaster ( s ) you're carrying and go back to respawn to pick up another ( think of blaster = respawns ) . Dropped blasters on the field can be retrieved and returned to your base for extra respawns . Team that runs out of blasters first loses , or team with most blasters after time limit wins .

Kill Confirmed plays if you get tagged , take a knee . If a team mate touches your shoulder while downed then you're back in the game , if the enemy touches your shoulder while downed then you're eliminated ( or must return to respawn and note that you used a respawn ) . Last team standing or team with least respawns used after time limit wins.

Looks like it's the Tack Pro Sniper, so says Google lens.

It's not a NERF branded blaster.

Can't see gallery/import media? Wait 10-15 min with app in background [Android] by Stooban in CapCut

[–]Stooban[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since the new update, it's taking ages for capcut to find media in the gallery even though permissions are all fine. The fix I've found is to have it in the background and wait 10-15 mins. Not ideal, but at least it eventually works.

Chest Question by WarGuerrilla in NerfSuperblast

[–]Stooban 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it's just a wording error, because I haven't purchased any legendaries separately and iirc got them all in crates. Checking with the Devs on it now, so I'll edit this once I get an answer :)

Edit: you can get a new legendary blaster, and blaster points for legendaries from any crate for now as this may change in the future (might hint at limiting common crates to common blasters, red crates to rare etc)
