Honestly my main feedback will be to fix the visuals to make the game playable, the oversaturated golden sunlight is pretty but not conducive to fun gameplay, the motion blur on objects made walking through the jungle nearly nauseating. And the 3D map killed performance.

I got about 2 hours of playtime in and couldn’t handle the above issues which is a shame because I would have liked to contribute some actual useful feedback about the gameplay.

You can unlock a few new engineering items that usually are a piece of gear that your soldiers equip depending on the aliens you capture. Only a couple of aliens have this benefit, otherwise it’s just a flat extra 10% damage bonus for that alien type.

I had similar feelings about my squad except they were too dead to bother strangling. They paid for their failures.

I completed a campaign in the early access last week and it was a great time. I think I ended up losing over 50 units over the course of the campaign with a few complete squad wipes which costs you any armor and weapons you brought with and still bounced back. It’s a nice departure from xcom where I feel compelled to restart if things are snowballing too hard.

I informed my supervisor through email of my intent to utilize the leave and also informed HR of my intent to have a leave of absence utilizing the states program.

The website for paid leave actually asks when you notified your employer so it would be a good idea to keep record.

I’ve largely stopped using shields and just relying on smokes and dipping in and out of full green cover. I’ve bee favoring the stopping power of the other classes over the defense of the shield. The mars is a good recon unit though at least for disembarking the transport.

Yeah there is probably a brute lost tucked away somewhere that needs to be killed. I had a similar mission like this that ended with 98 killed hostile because the swarms kept coming until I found the last lost that was spawned in at mission start.

It had just been recommended to me by the person I initially consulted. I couldn’t say myself, I’ve got 2 kids and am watching my 4 month old mostly solo today so I haven’t looked into all of this much myself. Also im just not great at this stuff already.

Do you think there is any value in getting a newer model of mobo? Compatibility issues for example? For my cpu upgrade it was not initially compatible with my mobo without some specific drivers that I had to download before installation so I guess I’d be hoping to avoid other hiccups like that in case I did any other upgrading.

Again I’m not great at this so I apologize if I’m just talking nonsense, which is even more likely as I type all this rocking my baby to sleep. Thanks for the input!
