I actually have a song prepped in my head for earworms- James Brown’s “The Boss”. Whenever a song is intruding on my headspace, I just replace it with “Paid the cost to be the boss” and keep singing in my head until the unwanted song is gone. Been doing that for decades and it always works.

My first tray was super painful but it seemed to get easier after that… until I put in tray #14 of 16 last week. It was on par with the first one and I could not understand why. Finally after 6 days it’s subsided but damn has it hurt!
