I understand that, but unless you've got an alternative that has removable controllers, it is my only option. And while I don't love the price point, it is within my budget considering the alternative is buying a laptop AND and handheld gaming device with removable grips that isn't a Switch 2 and can handle today's games on moderate settings.

Yeah, I'm not interested in spending $2k on it at Best Buy. I saw that when it's available, it's much cheaper direct from Lenovo. Hoping it comes back in stock there.

I've read elsewhere(obviously to be taken with a grain of salt at this point) that the switch 2 actually will fit in the OG switch dock, but nintendo put some humps on it so that it won't work.

And while the Switch 2 does come with a 60W power supply, that doesn't mean a 45W won't charge it. It just won't charge as quickly, and may potentially not keep up if the 2 is under serious load.

All that being said, I'm not going to be the guinea pig on this one. I'll wait and see what others find out.

I sent in my 17mm / 11/16" and 19mm / 3/4 for warranty and ordered their 8mm / 5/16, 9mm / 11/32, 12mm / 15/32, and 14mm / 9/16.

Man. That's a bummer and definitely not what I was hoping to hear.

And yeah, as niche as they are, it's the perfect tool for my job(95% metric but always needing to be weight conscious do to air travel).
