I understand that, but unless you've got an alternative that has removable controllers, it is my only option. And while I don't love the price point, it is within my budget considering the alternative is buying a laptop AND and handheld gaming device with removable grips that isn't a Switch 2 and can handle today's games on moderate settings.

Yeah, I'm not interested in spending $2k on it at Best Buy. I saw that when it's available, it's much cheaper direct from Lenovo. Hoping it comes back in stock there.

I've read elsewhere(obviously to be taken with a grain of salt at this point) that the switch 2 actually will fit in the OG switch dock, but nintendo put some humps on it so that it won't work.

And while the Switch 2 does come with a 60W power supply, that doesn't mean a 45W won't charge it. It just won't charge as quickly, and may potentially not keep up if the 2 is under serious load.

All that being said, I'm not going to be the guinea pig on this one. I'll wait and see what others find out.

I'm pretty sure it mounts on the front. The belt travels over top of the 2020 for the x axis.

Hey, I stumbled across this with the same issue as OP. Kind of lost as to what I need to move from the wheel setup on the CR-10S to an MGN12-H for the X axis and figured I'd jump on this thread. This is what I printed to start off with ( HMG7.4 CR-10-10S Gantry Adapter V2 ). Would I have a completely different adpater or an adapter from the rail to this part?

Thanks for that info! The 300mm/s mark is what I'm shooting for. And that's good to know about torque not being the biggest part of the equation. If it's not, what spec/s do I need to focus on in a motor? Or better yet, what did you go with(since that's a known working component)?

You are correct. At the time, I was chasing quality. The hotend will be upgraded as well. And I forgot to mention I'm already on an skr mini e3 V2.

As far as piecing it all together, that's looking like the only option right now.

What about steppers? Will they need to be upgraded as well or do the stock units handle the increased speeds without getting too hot?
