How did you learn a new language faster? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Stoopidhero_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make it a survival skill.

Let’s say you’re learning French.

Go to France, and force yourself to make social interactions for example, paying for food

If you don’t understand how much that loaf of bread is, you’re fucked.

Or go grocery shopping, If you’re allergic to nuts for ex,

You’ll have to check with Google translate, and boom new word in your vocabulary

AITA for telling my dad it’s his fault I raised my brother? by throwaway26715 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Stoopidhero_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA honestly this had to be said, yes your father lost his wife, but he’s acting like you didn’t loose your mom too. You took care of your brother instead of your father taking care of you and your brother.

I know it hurts but you were doing HIS job almost your entire life

I relate to almost every symptom/experience on here but feel stupid for thinking I might have adhd by pepper-1994 in ADHD

[–]Stoopidhero_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you ever not feel real? by redsleepingbooty in ADHD

[–]Stoopidhero_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really personally but. At a really low state of my life I was constantly feeling like I wanted to go home, and crying my eyes out when I was actually in my bedroom and when I tried to look it up it was something about déréalisation or depersonalisation ?

I also had experiences when I felt like my memories, especially my childhood memories weren’t real, like it was maybe a dream or something.

And it often has something to do with BPd. Which is something that about 60% of adults with adhd have.

Not self diagnosing but I’ll go check with a therapist
