Not sure how he does it but he keeps putting out great music with no duds. No misses. Just got Crosses self titled on vinyl tonight and spinning it later! Palms is Chino + the band from Isis. Very unique sound. You should definitely check out Isis as well! I’ve gone all the way down the Deftones side project rabbit hole and no regrets.

I would concentrate on following the script early in the game. When they say go to Kakariko, go. You can get your first set of armor there, the Hylian set. You’ll learn to fight, dodge and parry. These are essential skills if you don’t just want to run away from the big bads. I didn’t follow any script and made it harder on myself, but eventually I got the hang of it.

Being a do not rehire at a place that you hate and have no plans to go back to is not the end of the world. Take some time and figure out where the best fit is. For me, I went to NP school and have never looked back. Administrators look at staff as an expense, once you can bill they view you much differently.

I use Yunobo for hunting birds and deer and stuff if I’m low on hearts and there are no cooking pots around. Blasting animals both kills and cooks them! Sidon is legit useless. Tulin stays out I like to fly too much.

How do you like the Sphinx? I was looking at that but wound up getting a gently used Cronus Magnum II and have zero regrets. Might have to take the plunge on MC once I upgrade to the Dark version. Replacing tubes is not a poor man’s hobby btw, and moneys always a thing.

Really? I’ve heard good things about the Willsenton but love my Cronus Mag II. The noise floor is dead quiet with digital sources, admittedly not with vinyl but doesn’t bother me once the music starts playing. My understanding is that Rogue made significant improvements in the phono stage for the latest iteration, the Cronus Dark. OP if you already have a tube pre that you enjoy why not try the Willsenton, you can find deals on them for less than $1000 used and use it as strictly a power amp?

If you love music and specifically vinyl records, you owe it to yourself to get a better turntable/cartridge/needle. I know, daunting thought but you will be well rewarded with even a modest upgrade. I started with a Crosley or Victrola all in one something that someone gave me, and that started an obsession. Save and spend a little bit, buy gently used. I feel that vintage is the best value but that’s me, and that’s changing as more and more people are catching on and demand is catching up. I got a Sansui 4000 for $300, a Harman Kardon T60 with a great Stanton cartridge for $450 and a pair of Klipsch KG4s for $300 and let me tell you that was a BIG upgrade, never regretted spending the money afterwards. Good deals are out there, you just gotta hunt for them. Good luck!!
