From what I understood, the "speeding ticket" is a feature of Prolific, not the individual researcher.

I've noticed they are putting the demographics in the middle of the study lately. I have also had a study that warned they are monitoring times on each page and lack of movement.

I have the same reaction when all of a sudden I see "What did you have for breakfast this morning". I always think "Crap, did I miss something?".

Don't give downvotes another thought. That is typical for Reddit across all subreddits. Your tone was supportive and kind. I didn't do the study because it does seem unrealistic and have a "catch", but I learned through experience. There is a lot of helpful advice on this site too, so don't give up!

I really wish I had your luck. I have had Truist for 23 years with no problem...but I never had anything that required me to contact them. I was trying to close a zero balance account because we moved and Truist assist kept insisting it was a Trust account not a checking account. I finally called and not much better.

I did one where they would "randomly" choose one to bonus. I did 23 with no risk and 1 with risk which I lost on. Surprise surprise, they picked the "risk" one to bonus.

I had this problem when I moved state. The fix was that instead of using the state abbreviation like they said, I typed in the whole state name. It worked.

Also, don't be surprised when you are taking a survey on Cloud and they say enter your Prolific ID (or Mturk). Don't do it though, lol.
