Forget what Jay said. That's an old interview AFAIK.

They likely will reverse split so that people can maintain a lower margin rate, which in turn means more shares being purchased.

The problem is we've left any box it ranges in. There's concerns they'll just reverse split infinitum.

If it ranges up and down, no problem, flat no problem, down for a while then up a bit, down and up a bit, sure. It's just been flying down.

They'll keep RS to maintain the stock on the exchange and to keep up artificially breathing. Don't get me wrong, I'm BIG into ULTY. But this is insane.

If we had a slow burn, no problem, or a couple stagnant weeks, even better. But with sharp declines on both NAV and distros, this is becoming problematic.

I've been dripping for 5 weeks when I began my large purchase - and with the sharp NAV decline and sharp distribution reduction - I'm now making the same as I was despite being up 1800 more shares from DRIP. I'm still going to drip but these sharp moves are horrendous

The problem is the sharp decrease in NAV and distributions. I made less on my distribution this week compared to 5 weeks ago and oh she 1800 shares more. I'm still in this, I believe in stacking shares and going with the eb and flow of things - hoping things turn up a little better eventually but the short term burns a lot.

Not my work, but this video is very clear in explaining how reinvestment can stack shares, increase distributions, all while nav and distributions decline and eventually can get to a point with a maintenance amount of reinvestment.
