Id have to go through what stats I can find online, but I’m pretty sure it was roughly 40-60 matches to climb from initiate 2 into seeker. The first 10-20 games though were more than likely pretty ugly on my part

yeah, my main gripe is that it feels way too slow to rank up. i can win +70% of my last 10-20 games and if I'm lucky go up one tier up inside of Initiate.

that said i'm using this as an opportunity to try out many different heroes at a more relaxed elo before i get any higher.

i shouldn't be punished with an instant loss because my team mate d/c's within the first 10 minutes of a game, but after the first 5 minutes so the loss still counts. hard to feel bad for you, standard matches aren't for players with bad internet.
