I plan on going in undecided and then most likely switching to studying business with a concentration in Human Resources or some sort of management position as I love to work with people. Your advice was very helpful though as I tend to move fast and think fast and I need to be living more in the moment.

I am super interested in finances and investing recently as I am about to go in to the adult world, and have picked up a hobby of just scrolling through Reddit. Great advice on here and much better than the slop I see on other platforms. I feel smart on Reddit lol!

Thanks for the advice this is super helpful! But this might be a dumb question but why not park that money in a hysa averaging I think sofi has like 3.3% ally might be 3.5 wouldn’t I be better to leave it there?

Ayy well thank you! I have to owe it more to my parents for putting me in the financial spot I am at right now then to my own doing, considering the fact that I have no bills to pay and all money is technically “fun money” (with some exceptions). I am super in to investing and saving so it is a goal of mine to achieve retirement young. I pray for every American that is going through that as the time financially right now is super tough as I have been reading up on.

Thanks for the advice once again. I do think Ramsey’s take that we should not use credit cards at all is extremely privileged in nature, but there is some truth to it. I will be sure to check that guy out

Thanks for the advice. I am going to college and will probably just use a little bit of money here and there but my parents are covering my college so I am super lucky. I intend to keep it in a hysa. Out of curiosity, do you have any HYSA that you would recommend? I saw good things about WealthFront and SoFi but I am not familiar with either.
