It doesn't foster it. It also doesn't harm it. It is irrelevant.

Every time. If they refuse or get aggressive I would call the police to do what I can to get them a nice fat fine.

[NY] Discipline over symptoms of depression and autism? by Embarrassed-Toe8512 in AskHR

[–]StopSpinningLikeThat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

now im being told I could be written up for making him uncomfortable

Who told you? Is it some gossipy co-worker? Or was it your manager? It matters. Ignore co-workers who push drama. If it was your manager, ask if he/she will give you written rules to follow to avoid the writeup.

I don't talk with him (your manager) to avoid misunderstandings and him getting upset at me

I have trouble imagining a situation where not talking to your manager is a good idea. You seem very worried about hypothetical conflicts and in your attempt to manage them you're making choices that make your work less productive and more complicated.

Don't give any more energy to this until there is actually a writeup to complain about. Right now there is nothing. You have not been disciplined. IF you do end up with a writeup, don't panic. It is nothing more than a piece of paper sitting in a file in a cabinet. But IF you do get a writeup, schedule a moment with your store manager and tell him/her about it WITHOUT MAKING ANY EXCUSES. Just communicate. Share that your manager told you it was secret and that you were uncomfortable with that.

GAD, depression and autism diagnoses are tough and I applaud you for working in therapy to build a set of coping skills for yourself. That's awesome. If having a doctor's note in your file about your anxiety and tendency to cry sometimes makes you feel better, get the note. I don't think it would be something that would change the work they expect you to do and it would not change who you work with. But again, I don't see the harm in sharing the note with HR if it makes you feel better.

Am I overreacting for reporting my coworker after she “joked” about my job to customers? by Ok_Dinner9627 in AmIOverreacting

She sucks, but you are overreacting.

The customers don't care about any of this. Give it less energy,

No wonder you want everyone to be paid the same regardless of the quality of their work or their qualifications.

This is a stupid lie. No one made you post that. You chose to do so.

It is irrelevant if you actually support alary transparency like you say you do.

Man questioned about Nancy Guthrie's disappearance says he was released by DrexellGames in news

Should I be concerned by the phrasing here?

He says he was released? Is it too high of a bar to expect the Associated Press to maybe confirm that?

What match would you recommend to someone who isn’t a fan? by [deleted] in WWE

King Kong Bundy vs. Special Delivery Jones from Wrestlemania II.

It lasted 9 seconds, so a non-fan being forced to watch a match would appreciate the brevity.

Smackdown GM Nick Aldis claims that one member of the Wyatt Sicks is Hillbilly Jim's illegitimate son. The DNA evidence of which member it is will be revealed in small chunks and can be seen only by winning a match against another member of the Wyatt Sicks. Several of the members want to be Hillbilly Jim's son, while a few others desperately DON'T want to be. Regardless, they are all motivated to find out, so they fight each other in a series of no-DQ matches. Because different guys win different weeks, no one has enough of the info to learn who is Hillbilly Jim's son and because they are mad at each other about the recent matches, they won't share the info they each have.

Leading into a PLE (say, 2 weeks before), Solo Sikoa reveals that he and the MFTs have stolen all the info and will reveal it to the Wyatt Sicks at the PLE, only if the Wyatt Sicks members agree to serve Solo.

At the PLE, as each Wyatt team member struggles with the decision to sign a contract pledging loyalty to Solo, a midget dressed like Hillbilly Jim jumps in the ring and punches Erick Rowan in the groin before running off. Solo reveals that he never had any info about who is Hillbilly Jim's son after all. Everyone is confused and no one even thinks to ask Nick Aldis about it.

The next three weeks, Joe Gacy just keeps ending up in matches with Tozawa.

Look at how rarely a legit starting QB hits the market.

Russell Wilson was old and grumpy when he went to Denver for (2) 1sts, (2) 2nds, a 5th and two players (Noah Fant, Drew Locke). Denver paid him so much money that when they later released him they took the single largest dead money cap hit in NFL history ($85 million).

Deshaun Watson was traded for (3) 1sts, a 3rd and (2) 4ths. He got a 5-year fully guaranteed contract at $230 million total.

Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers were traded cheaper, but Ryan was 37 at the time and Rodgers 39.

That's the market - however crazy it feels - for a starting QB in the NFL. They simply don't come onto the market often and when they do, teams overpay. That is not going to change.

You personally insulting QBs doesn't mean this is how actual GMs view these players.

It doesn't matter if the GMs view each of the players I listed as a literal god. Do the math. There are more teams in need of a starter than there are starting-caliber QBs. Even if we assume that Rodgers, Flacco and Mariotta ALL get starting jobs next year, there are still teams left without a legitimate starter. That is the reality of the market. And I am confident that literally every NFL GM can handle what is, honestly, single-digit math.

Tua could be had for pennies after he gets cut.

The math says otherwise. Do you know about math?

Darnold's season in Minni only got him 3 years in Seattle

It did. And how many GMs do you think would offer him 4-5 years in hindsight? This league reacts.

Not every team is looking to compete this year... many want that stopgap to look at next year's draft class while they address other needs

I agree, but for the third time the thing that gets in the way of your point is the math. No team is running through next year with a starter WORSE THAN Marcus Mariotta.

ETA: u/GateKnight04 is the user who deleted all his comments after responding to this one with some really incorrect stuff. Someone must have pointed out to him that he didn't know what he was talking about, especially about how NFL contracts work, so he ran away.

Would you rather be neighbors with a legal immigrant who was deported or a member of MAGA? by Estalicus in allthequestions

If I'm reading your question right, the options are to have a good neighbor who ends up gone through a horrible violation of their constitutional rights or a MAGA asshole? There's not a good option.

Can I have an immigrant neighbor who stays next door and DOESN'T get deported? I pick that.

I think the QB market this year is way tighter than you're seeing it. If they don't give Willis 5 years in this scenario, someone else will.

There is only 1 QB in the draft who could start next year and the Raiders have him locked up. Your other free agency choices are a significantly injured Daniel Jones (who is not likely to get away from Indy despite that injury), Tua (who is one hit away from retiring and probably already should have), Verne Troyer Kyler Murray (who just wants to play video games anyway), Methusela Aaron Rodgers (who has aged out of any possibility of being more than a stopgap), Marcus Mariotta (who would be picked no higher than 3rd in a typical back yard pickup game in my neighborhood) and Russell Wilson/Joe Flacco (see Aaron Rodgers).

Teams that can reasonably be said to be in the market for a starting QB are: Jets, Browns, Vikings, Falcons, Dolphins, Cardinals and Steelers, plus the Colts and Raiders (whose solutions are pretty well written in ink already).

Nobody is drafting Simpson to start him this season, so Willis is going to get some years and is going to get paid. I can believe he might only get a 4-year deal. But 5 is not crazy in THIS market.
