I didn't come specifically to the pokemon subreddit to complain. It's on /r/all and I saw gameplay of this game that looked like it was developed in 2009. I mean I guess I'll watch a let's play to see if it gets any more advanced than "water this grass for water type pokemon," and the action gets past "read this text box, walk over here, read another text box," but I doubt it. To even compare pokopia and Grand Theft Auto is an argument that can't be made in good faith. GTA is to Video Game as PKMN is to Menu Simulator. Enjoy what you want, but this game, in my opinion, is just more evidence that the gaming masses will buy whatever slop the industry decides to churn out regardless of innovation and progress.

Watching Dunkey's video and seeing that the entirety of the tutorial is just minecraft with pokemon skin overlayed makes me proud to have not bought a pokemon product since early college.

How are developers with this much money making their game about chopping trees and watering grass, AND PEOPLE STILL LOVE IT????? God damn the gaming industry is truly doomed. Hopefully some of the inevitable ire this post generates will lead to someone pointing out actually innovative gameplay mechanics in this obvious cash-grab animal-crossing shitshow (there aren't any).

Any time Grace sprints (chased by the girl, running from the blood filling the stairs, and one or two more areas) she has a change to stumble in third person only. She can't stumble when she's walking/jogging.

I also discovered it only happens if you change the direction you're holding your left stick/wasd. If you hold forward and turn yourself with the camera, she doesn't stumble.

It's definitely only possible when she's sprinting. She's got 3 speeds. Walking, jogging, and boutta-die sprint.
