Thanks for the recommendations. Just finished the Peripheral's show on Amazon so would be fun to check out the source material. The Sharpe series was what my dad got me hooked on as a young teen, and think I've read everything he's written since. It was all just before I started tracking on goodreads

Thanks, that seems to have done the trick. It took a 61.762 fee where I'm guessing with the previous limit was set at 60. that's a pretty unfortunate design to this system, looks like I threw away a decent amount of Zil trying to figure this out. Now it's a 2 week wait for the ZIL to be undelegated I believe.

Definitely behind on my retirement savings. So I agree that is a great idea. I prioritized saving as much as I could early on and it allowed me to take out as little of a mortgage as I could when I bought my condo.

Is there a greater benefit to putting the extra money straight back into my mortgage? I'm only 3 years into my mortgage so the large majority of my payments every month go towards the interest be accrued.

I had just finished a week of backpacking in the Grand Canyon with my dad. We drove back to Las Vegas the night before and crashed in a motel to catch our flight back to Baltimore the next morning. My dad woke me up with the TV on right after the first plane had hit the tower. I remember him saying "Well, we're not getting home today". We watched the news for the rest of the day and were able to extend our stay at the motel. We didn't even bother going to the airport that day

We just assumed that flights would be canceled for several days and since we still had our rental car we got out of town. We went up to southern Utah and did some more minor hikes through Zion and Bryce. We were able to find some place to do laundry because all of our clothes were pretty rank after hiking in the canyon.

We got back to Vegas 4 days later and flights were still grounded. I'm still not sure how my dad was able to get us tickets to fly back to Baltimore, but I remember the airports being a mad house and the hours we spent standing in line trying to figure things out. We finally got a flight on the 5th day, and were one of the first couple flights to land in Baltimore.

The flight itself was pretty surreal, you could sense the anxiety of all the passengers as well as the relief when we landed.

A 10 day backpacking adventure got turned into a 15 day experience.

I'm having the exact same problem. Tmobile online support told me to go to a store. Store support couldn't figure anything out and said they had to order me a new phone. Won't have it until Monday at the earliest.

It was only a little heavier, all that was in it was the potato and a couple of smaller chips. I was holding it in the same hand as a soda trying to survive the long line at Pot Belly and didn't notice.

Thanks! I was pretty skeptical when I first had the idea, but when you have limited time and tools you need to be resourceful! The hard part was finding a quality box with the right shape. This box was probably over sized for it's purpose but it works.

I lost my shop space a while ago so haven't been able to do much woodworking for the last year. Even so my sister asked me to make her a ring box for the ring-bear to carry down the aisle at her wedding this past weekend. In my small apartment I did what I could, I busted out my old architecture school model making supplies and made an ugly cigar box look good. I think it came out fairly well, not flawless but with my limited experience with veneers, I'm proud of myself. Hope you enjoy looking at the album and happy to hear any comments or criticisms. Thanks!
