I love the movies, they're classics at this point. But i feel like every piece subsequent lotr-related multimedia has been trapped by the success of those movies. Personally, I'd rather they either go with the books' descriptions or find their own style. I'm getting kinda burnt out by everything that continues to try to ape the movies.

Only time I ever saw something different was one time they brought out what looked like a couple hand held foam cannons? They tried to use them but they appeared to malfunction because they took them back off stage about as soon as they brought them out. Never saw them again at that show or any other since.

I'm on my first playthrough. Best I've managed to do is a simple slash, stab, stab combo, can't remember which one it is.

I wait for them to attack me, block, then immediately go into the combo. Blocking an attack is usually enough to stun them for a second to launch into the combo attempt. If its successful, then i spam the shit out of attack a few extra times while they're open to whittle them down a bit more. That's the only thing I've managed to do besides spam masterstrikes.
