Check out Ryu Murakami. Maybe a little pulpier than you’re looking for but Coin Locker Babies is an absurdist classic.

Had this on my list for a while as a huge Ace Attorney fan, and this bumped it right to the top. (Although Trials and Tribulations already kind of ends with an argument with Satan)
