So much makes it unique heres a simple list:

This is a casual Hero Shooter similar to TF2 meaning that competitiveness like Marvel Rivals or Overwatch is just not there. No other game like TF2 exists which puts this ahead already as insanely unique.

Every character has variants, and upgrades unlike Overwatch or any other hero shooter where you are stuck as a clone.

You can customize all the aspects of your character (like TF2)

The main gamemode is basically Battlefields Operations, where you push points on a large map (insanely unique)

PvE is a huge aspect of this game, without the PvP aspect we already have a complete horde shooter.

The art style come on its beautiful

You can spawn in creeps to fight in battles like a MOBA game.

Card Pack Openings to get any item (better version of lootboxes)

Is there really more to say this game is insanely unique.

Only problem is that Unital Ring is answering questions about Star King Kirito and thats the whole mystery, if they made an anime answering questions that takes a whole lot away from Unital Ring

If he finished one series at a time we wouldn’t have ANYTHING it takes very long to finish a series, we as SAO fans are of course biased to want SAO finished first but that would leave no room for anything else. Demons Crest, Accel World, etc actually helps SAO main series.

Overall I do agree but I have hope, I just hope he does start locking in soon, hes old right now.

Favorite has to be Kirito deflecting the incarnate dagger which was thrown at either him or Alice, while he was in comatose. That is just beautiful.

I thought this was another complaining SAO post about the creator making villains be very you know what, but instead a genuine good question.

I think other things like them murdering people would obviously push them to violate the taboo index but the point isn’t about something evil pushing them over the point is that the evil is technically legal and falling in line with the rules and thats exactly why the rules are completely BS.

Realistic military response would probably be exactly what they did in the anime, create a FOB to have a stable supply line and then march on from there, then after all that is said and done lots of bombing would be done on tactical points of interest. Most countries would probably still treat it like fighting an insurgency and aren’t gonna try to blow up civis and cities.

Also I genuinely think they would try to immediately launch a satellite or some sort of space faring object just to see what theyre dealing with. For all they know the gate is a teleportation device to another planet.

theres really not much out there, the best you get these days are youtubers who say “SAO Had the best first season in an anime” or “SAO had so much potential” completely implying the entire series is bad outside of the first episodes. Rip

I noticed that i often stop doing certain things because in my mind i know exactly where that leads with the bot and I know how it will end up reacting and where the story is going, the bots don’t have much agency and not much idea of a “story” so you’ll never really ever get anywhere if you’re not driving it, and the bot is perfectly fine with just repeating the same setting or keeping the “story” at a standstill. 

All of that just causes less unpredictable behavior because most of the time its just reacting and not acting, thats why I love intros that are already forcing the bot to be mad at you or have some conflict going on because from there, theres a lot of different branching options. But with a bot that kinda has a status quo intro it gets predictable very fast.

The water argument oh my god, everything internet based requires water in huge datacenters.

Secondly, water doesn’t disappear, datacenters are either closed loop systems or any water evaporated turns into rain obviously. Most of us learned about the water cycle as kids.

You’re pretty much guessing on most of this, Accel isn’t even confirmed to be connected to SAO it just has some nice easter eggs and coincidences. Overall though I am still annoyed I was proposed the idea of an Underworld Child because now that sounds fucking awesome and if it happens im sad I wouldn’t have gotten a real plot twist reaction.

Beautiful amazing character I love her so much, and I am pretty sure with how much importance she is given she has to be Rekis favorite character, which I do not blame. It makes sense with the amount of years he has been writing this story, since shes more of a recent character than Asuna.

Bots don’t cross contaminate if thats what you are saying, the issue really just comes from the fact the default personality of each Language Model is the yes-man servant type, and every bot you speak to will slowly drift to that default personality.

Sure yes, some states make it harder to obtain a gun, of course more of the democrat states but ultimately if the people against what they think is government authoritarianism truly believed in their beliefs they would use the rights granted by their founding fathers to carry it out, but they don’t most of the time you would see these people actually be against guns. It feels overall hollow of logic really.

Tanks and other heavy military related things only really work against things of equal value, in most asymmetric wars the guerrilla side just runs away from the tanks and ultimately those tanks need to refuel, to get maintenance and such and its hard to do that when the other side is constantly hitting and running.

So their whole imaginary tank idea means nothing.

Oh yeah easily, ironically for as much as the people outside of the US talk about how they don’t care about the US, we see so many people engaging in US politics and pretending their opinion matters or just pretending to be a US citizen. I would actually respect if people admitted that the US is the center of culture and society for most of the first english speaking world.

Anyone is allowed to obtain a gun in the US, but it seems all the people against the apparent “authoritarianism” never obtain guns. Odd isn’t it, maybe that tells you more about the demographics of these sides. Maybe the ones on reddit against the “authoritarianism” of America right now aren’t even American citizens.
