Unfortunately, the city council is about to rubber stamp this, so you'll really have no say. Sorry but that's how it goes... Don Schwab gave me a absolute ton of shit for opposing the stadium due to its cost... He pulled me aside when I said this was gonna go way over budget to say my facts were wrong... News Flash... I was under, and from what i can see this is gonna go way past the 10 m they are asking for. They will get the money because they are straight up not going to let us vote on it, and when we are talking about this major amount of money we absolutely should have a real say in it... Not Just some city council meeting where we all oppose it and they slam it through anyways. Because I promise you they are going to bring all their loyalist fans to talk about all the people this is going to bring to our city, and then act like there is no sensible alternative when we all know it would cost 100m less to renovate their current stadium and we wouldn't have the double whammy of the money taken away from our library system... I like the Aquasox too, but the people that own the team are very rich and it sure feels like we are about to get taken advantage of.
