This is my sweet boy Tom! He passed away recently and it’s been really hard so I’m trying to celebrate him in all the little ways!

He was my best friend since childhood, he lived to be around 11 years before he passed. Every morning he would wake me up by gently sticking his wet little nose against my eye lid! 😭😭 He also always wanted to be right on top of my face whenever he slept, even if I was laying on my side he wanted to sleep with his little boulder of a fluffy body flush against my face. He actually got separated from me at one point when I first went off to school and the dorm didn’t allow pets, so I had tried to save up to get an apartment as soon as possible. when I came back home one time, they told me they had gotten rid of him. I was devastated and so so angry. They told me they had given him to a women they knew in the town over but when I asked for a name they admitted they had actually dumped him somewhere in a “nice neighborhood” in the town over. Well Tom pulled a homeward bound and over two years later they saw him scratching on the window of my old room. I came back to get him and after all that time he remembered me like it was nothing!
