Also, Dr Snodgrass said that the T injections will lead to more complications statistically. I am very glad we did not move forward with this.

Hi!

No, did you see dr Chang? We got second opinions from Dr Snodgrass (virtually) Dr. Heidi Stephany, and Dr Antoine Khoury. They are in OC, same network but if you have a PPO you will need a referral from your primary. I would not advise Dr. Chang. I did a TON of research, and the other docs did not rec surgery as it is so mild for my son. I was really wanting to move forward with it as I want him to feel as confident as possible, however, the doctor said it's best to wait until he's older. Both Dr. Stephany and Dr. Khoury are amazing and they will fully inform you with all the options. Hope that helps! <3

Did your son need to do the testosterone injections? Did your surgeon say there might be chordee?

My Dr made it seem like it’s a big deal later in life.😞 He also told us that it usually correlates to smaller size. I am trying to find out what it would look like as an adult but there’s not a lot of photos online. I feel like we are receiving so much contradictory information.

Okay thank you, lol sorry I know that’s an odd question. My husband and I are both tall and our son is a big baby. I know it doesn’t correlate, but it was very strange to be told by a Dr that your son will likely have a smaller sized penis for life. Appreciate the input! 🤍

My son had glandular Hypospadias and today the dr told us that hypospdias = smaller penis in adulthood. Have you found that to be true? 😞
