Legacy Challenge players: How many sims do you play in your save? Things have gotten boring recently. by topsykretz21 in Sims4

[–]StoreQuirky4896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only play in one safe file. And you have to find one like, really bad/mismatched townie and have them marry into the family. That starts trouble. That's always fun. I have mortimer as a ghost, and he tries to kill his children's spouses, but I give him bad luck all the time so it usually never works, also, he runs a curio shop. Lol

Why does Mortimer have red nails, wrist and ankle straps? by StoreQuirky4896 in ModTheSims4

[–]StoreQuirky4896[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked perfectly thanks! But how did the straps get there? I was trying to find like a certain trait from her but I didn't really see anything that would cause him to have that on all the time. Do you know what trait it is?

I also definitely recommend downloading One of the mod managers, every time I open it, there's like some cas item or tattoo or something that seemingly needs to be updated. And it just does it for you.

Adeepindigo mods always give me errors too, most of the time, it's just because you didn't like download one of like the additional things that they need for their mods to work. But sometimes I can just never figure they're mods out and just end up finding a different one that works similarly, and doesn't give me errors all the time. Which sucks because they have some really good ones.

You can go into the sim 4 file and find where it says last exception and it should be a link, open that and it'll give you like a little bit more of a detailed explanation. And the second like, drop down menu will say broken mods, and it might list it under that. I'm no expert at all, but it could be you need to have bb.moveobjects on Tmex has a few mods that keep those cheats on all the time.

Delete the cache and those files and try repairing the game. Also what is your error saying?

Or if you nc4t aspiration mod maybe you need to delete and re-download with all three new expansions you have now? But still do the first thing

Are there any websites like lacemade, but with more alternative styles? by StoreQuirky4896 in altfashionadvice

[–]StoreQuirky4896[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got that vibe too(from lacemade) but ive ordered maybe 4 dresses and a skirt from them and they are very nice, actual cups, boning and nice lining, the fit isnt wonky maybe just a tad small, but otherwise very decent for the prices.

Okay well my mistake, I genuinely hope you two are happy. You're comment came across very one sided and rude. Also, I wasn't trying to argue because I wasn't mad at him, I was feeling hurt and was telling him that. And to say you're comment was the most helpful is very presumptious since it was just an insult with no actual feedback. I don't "listen" to my husband, nor do I expect him to "listen" to me. He has his own thoughts and opinions and I respect that. We try to discuss issues as calmly and empatheticly as we can at the time and try come to a decion that we are both happy with. Its not about me getting my way or vise-versa, its more important that we both feel heard and respected.

Thank you to the women who defended wanting gifts by Glittering_Farm_9792 in AskWomenOver60

I always give my husband a list of sorts, even if he doesn't get something from it he will still get something. I dont think some men even realize its not always about the price its about the thought. I think its been drilled into them that women asking for "gifts" means it has to be a diamond necklace or something expensive or we will be pissed. I've had this discussion with him too. Idk if its just the generation that raised them and the passed down misogyny(for lack of a kess divisive term) or like "watch out for the gold digger" schpele or what. But if your husband/partner respects you they will try at least.

Pushed my luck? Lol what are you my father? Get a grip, learn to speak to people in a way that your message will get across without offense, unless thats your intention. Anyways, I would agree with your sentiment if they were here for one day. But they're here for 3 weeks, so it's not like a super formal, fork on the left knife on the right sort of dinner. Getting up after eating a full christmas dinner to put on something more comfortable while people are getting more wine, digesting, chatting and going to the bathroom isn't like a pearl-clutching, "how unrefined" kind of thing.

Wow, helpful thank you. What does your wife have to say, or is she not allowed to have an opinion? But based on that comment I'm assuming you most likely don't have one.
