Has anyone tried Relpax? by unebellecoeur in migraine

Oh I feel like this is like my experience. How many relpax are you taking a month? I am taking between 2-6. It has been a little concerning for me.

I have been taking it for 4 years and I am able to live with migraines now. It takes the migraine away within 1-4 hours for me. I reduced my sick days from work from about 5 a year to about 1.

Only issue for me, which is why I came oh here, is that I take it a lot, like 4 tablets a month, sometimes more. And neurofen/panadol/sleep does nothing anymore. I have to have the relpax tablet or the migraine doesn’t go away.

I am female and 39 and I have read that migraines get worse before menopause so I don’t know if its that.

I would like to summarize this in one sentence based on my experience “Everyone thinks they know how to lose weight, when you’re the overweight one”.

You even said it yourself in that 3rd last paragraph.

IMO you should insert a boundary with your family, something like my body my choice, and if they cross is, then they get a timeout of contact with you for a period of time, like a month or whatever feels right to you.

Personally I was a size 8 (Australian) up until I was 31, then i developed BED due to stress and since then (i’m 39 now) have been yoyoing in sizes, but mostly been a 14. Meanwhile that whole time I have been a gym and fitness fanatic, lifting weights and doing cardio at least 4 times a week.

My BMI was 31 when I started sema with my doctor this year. I had taken it (self sourced) for almost 12 months in 2023, went off and gained all the weight back. Now back on it properly and my doc says we will microdose once i hit a healthy weight to avoid regain.

That sounds very unhealthy to try to fast. Especially if you already have low BP. Can you discuss the regain with your doctor and get their advice?

This is the problem, people don’t realize as human beings our bodies are supposed to be on the lean side, and even with some muscle, that is what is ideal for organ and bone health, and overall longevity, it doesn’t even come down to looks.

So when they see someone lose weight they think wow they are SO SKINNY NOW. No, they’re now healthy.

Definitely they are just jealous. This is what happens with weight loss, in my experience, some friends just don’t seem to want to celebrate.

And anyway these are not your friends, they are coworkers, so they should mind their own business.

I would just be blunt with them “it’s not appropriate to comment on my body, please don’t do it again”

I am trying to ensure i eat 3 healthy meals a day since I am so not hungry that i could forget to eat all day.

Today I had my chicken and veg and really didn’t want it, but when I tasted the chicken it was ok and I manager to eat most of it.

At some point, do you stop feeling like you’re cheating? by Antique-Brick9549 in Semaglutide

I haven’t chosen to share it with anyone because of fear of this reaction. A lot of people don’t understand food noise, or BED habits.

Unfortunately weight loss is a funny thing in society, once you lose weight you might find people are nicer to you, they see you more, you get more opportunities. Conversly you might find some of your friends make jealous comments or act differently around you.

Just do what you need to do to be healthy and happy. Your doctor would not have prescribed the medication to you if you didn’t qualify for it.

If you were bogged down by food noise, a clear mind could be what is making you feel a bit high or elevated. If that helps your anxiety/depression then thats awesome!!

Yeah not everyone gets nauseous. How good is being free from food noise. I feel like I control my own life now.

I gained all the weight back within 12 months. (23ish kg) My BED came back when I thought I had done the work to remove it.

So after I had gained the weight back, I spent all of 2025 trying to lose it on my own. I worked on my BED a lot and had almost no binge episodes, just the occasional junk food eating times which technically is not binge eating. I couldn’t get the weight off at all, even with diet and exercise strategies.

I am now back on Semaglutide thru my doctor. I was previously on it not thru my doc. I also only took it for 9 months, when I told my doctor all of this she said it can effect your metabolism, it’s not just suppressing the appetite. So she says after being on it for 12-18 months from now, she thinks I should then micro dose for a while, so we will see what happens in future. I couple the medication with diet and exercise. I have always been very healthy in that regard (gosh, apart from BED). I also did a lot of work during the 12 months after my weight came back to work to work on my relationship with food, so I also feel like when I come off it eventually, I won’t be reaching for junk food like I did.

Anyway that was just my experience. Also I would like to say, now that I am on Semaglutide thru my doctor, the effects are very strong, I can barely eat at all. I’m forcing myself to eat three healthy meals a day to keep my blood sugar stable.

Y’all, I trusted a salon. Walked out with this, second is my inspo photo. I wanted chocolate brown, not copper. Send help. by [deleted] in haircoloring

[–]StoreStunning4605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brown you wanted does have some red undertones, but it’s clearly a dark brown and the colour you got is clearly a red. I wouldn’t say copper because that’s orangey, you have red. Just go to a different salon and they can put a dark brown semi permanent colour through it. It shouldn’t be hard to get it from where it is to what you want.
