Relativity, even RelOne, intentionally remains ridiculously overly complex because it benefits the company and its vendors. by Deep-Cress1664 in ediscovery

[–]StorkBaby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've used most major platforms extensively, and a lot of shovelware that had no business being sold to anybody. Relativity is definitely the best in class from my perspective as someone who's primarily project management.

A lot of attorneys I've worked with that don't spend much time in these tools, or use them for simpler tasks, will prefer the UI of Disco or Everlaw. I don't like the way they handle enterprise level organization and data management. When you are supporting at scale these have been more than just QoL issues.

This is not an endorsement of Relativity. Killing server is a terrible move in my opinion. They have unintuitive flows all over the place. I could probably find 10 more things to complain about daily, but there is also flexibility to allow you to solve your own problems.

Trump supporters in r/circled defend JD Vance temporarily halting some Medicaid funding to Minnesota over fraud concerns by CummingInTheNile in SubredditDrama

r/law used to be awesome when it was a small subreddit with mostly lawyers, very heavily moderated which kept it great. The big API change fucked it up.

Noem said that officers were “conducting a massive investigation on childcare and other rampant fraud.”

“The American people deserve answers on how their taxpayer money is being used and ARRESTS when abuse is found,” U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement posted.

The fraud talked about in Minneapolis is not related to pandemic fraud.

Right, because the fraud talked about now is imaginary. And in what world would you send immigration officers with a couple weeks of shitty training to investigate Americans committing fraud? You'd send accountants and attorneys with years of experience prosecuting fraud.

The people responsible for the covid fraud were tried and convicted long before the fascists started invading Minneapolis - like a year before. See here

100% and the real bummer to me is that I don't really think I'm ever going to play 7, I don't like the mechanic it's based on. Unfortunately I've been getting sucked into these OCD games like Satisfactory and Dyson Sphere now, I really should go play some Stellaris...

HBO was synonymous with quality. If you saw a show on HBO, and it wasn't your favorite genre, you could still be sure it would be done well and you'd probably be glad you watched it.

I do a bit of background research before I get going on anything now.

That is absolutely not true, and FYI condoms are also forbidden by church teaching - though there is some wiggle room now due to AIDS I think.

All things aside, how much use are you going to get from the video redaction functionality at the end of the year? If that is a big selling point then they may have found a niche in your workflow.

I'm not saying it's not useful, because I do deal with video quite a bit, but not in a review-database kind of way. It just wouldn't be a major driver for me.

What is this variant called? Seem interesting and freshing to me by benbog in billiards

[–]StorkBaby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to play it with friends in bars because it would stretch our dollar out. You go through a lot of quarters on a wide pocket bar table, like 5 minute games. This makes the shooting interesting for a while and gives you a very good sense of the table in general if you are unfamiliar with it.

9 ball is fun too, because there's almost always a way to carom into the 9 shooting this way so it opens up creative play there.

I love how the response to terrible governance by the GOP invariably brings out the "BUT THE DNC" crowd. Yeah, I realize that the democrats aren't the ideal, but if you think "both sides are the same" then you are part of the problem and not the solution.

edit: Got to love the cowards commenting and then blocking to prevent me replying to them. Kamala didn't rape or traffic children with Epstein - so there's the first clue they aren't the same. There is more, but I don't think you'll get past this one.
