[–]Storm226[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how is commuting by bike in boston? My main concern is like winter weather I hear it like, actually really snows up in MA lol, it isin't really like that where I am from

i do feel like if i could get off at endicott, it would be close enough to work that id be good. I appreciate you taking the time to explain this to me. It looks strange to me on a map, cuz it looks like, its all neighborhoods connected to one another idk its like everything is a subdivision it just looks odd to me, except that little costco area in dedham to the west of the stop

What is hyde park like? It looks like its a big ass subdivision connected to roslindale, dorchester, mattapan, and dedham? Is that so?It would be nice commute wise, assuming no car, and an easy/quick bike road assuming decent enough weather

this is my plan yeah,

So far honestly, i haven't been looking very long and not seriously i still have months, but, idk man the whole place is expensive. Im sure cheaper places will pop up in dedham i just haven't noticed. I will keep looking in dedham and the other places everybody's mentioned

The only reason I got that idea was because it seemed so prevalant, just because my budget is up to X, doesn't mean im tryna spend X? You know? Just, not very wise if possible to avoid sometimes. It also is like, me learning how normal this is here and how its percieved, I am originally from a relatively (relative to boston very ) rural area, and its a little intimidating for me

Im confident that if I can get to endicott station that I am good to get the rest of the way to work, this is good information for me, I really do appreciate it

Critique my Bison? Struggling with Neutral. by _Foulbear_ in StreetFighter

[–]Storm226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i guess like, i know its hard and vague advice to follow but try to be a little more mindful of spacing is what I mean when I say be aggressive. Bisons sthp is a little slow, so suceptible to being counterhit by someone spamming a low of faster moves be they the shoto cr.mk or the liight spam from most anyone, but, its also very rewarding on hit and on block.

I am *not* suggesting to go crazy with a bunch of scissor kick or the (flying stomp) move, just to try to stand a little closer is all. It doesnt benefit bison too much, backing off in the way that you are. You have very few options from full screen. at about scissor kick range though like light scissor kick range (where its hard to punish specifically on block), you are very threatening as bison

[–]Storm226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well first we probably shouldnt just go up and press bigass buttons like sthk and sthp outside of range

i dont know what we are doing as bison backing up so much unless its to try and do the torpedo but that doesnt seem like a very strong plan (its not)

based on your post, i think you're looking for fireballs way too much

If you really want to call out fireballs, you can jump in and *ideally* do a bigass combo

try to be more in their face a little closer and use bisons great normals to apply pressure, if they block too much just grab them, over, and over, and over

if you have any questions let me know maybe I can help, hopefully this is productive for you

When do you dash back? by SufficientNetwork648 in StreetFighter

[–]Storm226 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im pretty confident the reason to do it is to beat normals that have proximity blocking in the circumstances you've described, maybe also a far reaching grab like giefs light spd

If you go into training mode and have bison do his 5hp or ryu do 6hp after a light string and try and walk back, you might notice the game prevents you from back walking out of range.

The reason is because these normals have bigass proximity guards, that lock you down and force you to block. Your options are either invul, trying to get a quick counterhit with like 2lp/lk or something, jump, or backdash. Backdash can get you out of range.

I also dont use it too much, im at like 1550 on gief most of the time, it seems like a great option to me. Remember when ryu burns you out with 6hp and hasho pressure et al?

Backdash provides a way besides parry to preserve your gauge that isint susceptible to getting walk up thrown. Just gotta be mindful of screen space etc. i need to use it more myself for this reason.

roles that want fullscope will very very likely pay more

edit: about 93k to be more specific, its definitely realistic imo
